Stops at episode 9

All was going great until episode 10 when it wasn't available. It's well past when it should be and it isn't. It's available on every other platform that carries the show, but not on here. Where I paid $23 for it.

Air Time Lag

Every other way to watch this is updated sooner than Amazon. I recommend picking a different way of watching.

Love this season its so good, but the last episode came out wednesday and it hasn't been uploaded. I guess I might be able to find it on hulu or something, but I paid for it here and I guess it was a waste.

Thank you Amazon, I was worried and I shouldn't have been.

For me, it goes beyond loving this show -- I need this show, it's where I dwell (Quentin! <\racked with sobs>.)

Anyway, I don't have cable, or TV; I stream everything, because, while there are fantastic things on TV (I'm looking at you The Magicians -- with heart eyes,) there is still a lot of garbage, and I just don't feel like paying for it. I use Amazon Prime Video to buy my favorite shows and I watch them the day after they air. Then they're mine, all mine, forever. As the Season 5, The Magicians was approaching, I kept on checking Amazon to see if I could pre-order the series, but it remained unavailable. As 01/15/2020, the season premiere date, approached, I was channeling some Chicken-Little-The-Sky-Is-Falling level anxiety, what if Big Cable figured out my work around and decided to be snits about it? But lo and behold, minutes after midnight (PST), BOOM!, on Jan. 16th, there it was, only a "buy this season" click away. Thank you Amazon, I should have known better.

Is the next episode going to up today?
It's usually up the day after the episode airs and now I'm watching it on an app with * le gasp!* commercials. AYyyyy

Anyway, just wanted to check in and see if everything is okay. I know the fact this marks the last season ever and we're all very sad about it but don't keep us from current existing episodes just because we can't all have a season 6. :)

Big fan rant over. Well that was fun. :)

Amazing show, Amazon has delayed air time
Verified purchase
Like many, I was sad to hear that this would be the last season. Bought the whole season in advance here on Amazon so I could watch the shows (I don't have cable). Sometimes new episodes come up right away, sometimes it takes days. I'm still waiting to watch the series finale while under quarantine, two days after it aired. What gives?

It is nice to not have to watch commercials, unlike other platforms. Just strange that the airtimes are so inconsistent.

Still Going Strong

I honestly wasn't sure how I'd feel about this season after the loss of Q, but I'm pleasantly surprised to say that I'm still under the magicians spell. This season is great so far and I love that we are grieving with the characters. Most shows when a major character dies it's almost like the character just gets forgotten and the show moves on without a hitch but they're doing a great job keeping Qs memory alive and we're all learning how to cope after the loss. Well done.

Good season, bad pacing/inconsistencies in the first 3 episodes.

I have read the books and watched every episode of every season. The show is better than the books, far more entertaining.

Season five is strange, episodes 1-3 have extremely bad pacing. An example of such is from episode 1
Spoilers ahead!!

Margo(Janet) and Elliot get into a small fight while infiltrating castle white spire 300 years in the future. They separate, Margo sits down on a bench or something in a hallway, looks at her wrist (banishment scar) and immediately gets knocked out by a Guard whom somehow snuck up in seconds wearing metal shoes on stone

Anyway this whole scene happens in less than a minute.
poor pacing

Another strange example from episode 3 is how in the hell Margo(Janet), Elliot, Fen, and servants etc... somehow make it back to earth (300 years in the future remember)

They even went on saying they didn’t know when they would get to earth(time wise) so they stayed in Fillory and infiltrated CWS

Episodes 1-3 are inconsistent and have strange pacing.

But I’ll stick around no matter what
