It's funny and touching and so true to the middle-school experience (at least the one I’m living vicariously through with my own kids). I love it when an author isn’t afraid to portray a flawed protagonist, giving that character more room to grow and learn. Profound at times and silly at others. I couldn’t put it down. Plus, GOATS!
