5.0 out of 5 starsSeason 3 of one of the best TV series of the sixties
These early black and white episodes of the Saint were some of the best. The author of the books and stories, Leslie Charteris, was more closely involved with the early programs than the later ones. In season three I particularly noticed some similarity with both the Avengers and James Bond. For instance in episode 3, JEANNINE, the lady makes coffee. Simon sips and says, "MMM, Blue Mountain, lightly roasted, coarsely ground." The lady replies, "Instant, two francs a tin." Unfazed, the Saint merely replies, "You can't win them all."

As another reviewer noted, The Saint was Roger Moore at his best. The series made him a star. Seasons 1 - 3 are currently free with Amazon Prime.

5.0 out of 5 starsAnother great season
Another great season of the Saint. Even an appearance by a very young Donald Southerland in Ep 23. I like seeing the supporting cast reappear in future episodes as different characters. Black and white TV at its best.

5.0 out of 5 starsEntertaining...
I think Amazon should consider adding other episodes of the "Saint" to the Prime roster... I totally enjoyed watching all available episodes. Roger Moore is as he always was, a good and decent actor; I remember him from his James Bond movies... He was fine and so were most movies he acted in...

5.0 out of 5 starsRoger Moore at his best.
The Saint with Roger Moore is excellent classic black & white tv of good (The Saint) vs evil (The Other Guys & Gals). Before his passing Roger Moore was interviewed about his starring role as the saint. He was very proud of this tv series as he should have been. RIP Sir Roger Moore aka 007. :-)
