I normally love Raeann Thayne’s books and was so disappointed in this one. In fact, this is the first of her books I did not finish. The characters just don’t come to life and, frankly, none of the main characters were particularly likable. The story is structured with each chapter told from a different character’s perspective. It never came together as a cohesive narrative to me.

I have to agree with the others who said they couldn't get very interested in the various characters, that the story is too slow, and that normally they love RaeAnne Thayne's books. This one just doesn't hold my interest at all, but I paid for the hardcover edition and will force myself to finish this book.

I hope her next novel is much better than this one.
