So I searched a long time for a quality bubble machine for our son... there are a lot of options out there, but I bit on this because for a few dollars more over the cheap plastic machines this thing is a solid performer. AC powered, remote control, bubble mixture reservoir that's isolated from the power source, and a metal housing with handle/mounting bracket... win, win, win. Anything else we had before this was broke after two or three uses where the bubble mixture would infiltrate the motor or battery tray, the gears would strip, etc. etc. Bet we've used this two dozen times already and it's still like new.

It was fun at first - did great making tons of bubbles- it’s difficult to pour out unused solution-I try to do that from one of the edges and it’s messy - now it has rusted along the bottom edges even though I wipe it out after each use and store it indoors - it leaks too . Not happy now

I just DJ'd a wedding for my son. The reception was outside under a 30'x60' tent. I set up on 1 end where the dancing was to be. I didn't tell him about the bubble machine that I had mounted on my 9' light stand. Their 1st dance was right in front of me, exactly where I wanted them. About 10 seconds into the dance I took out the remote and started the bubbles. You could hear the crowd go WOW!, as bubbles began to swarm around them. He told me later that he said he felt something touch his neck and the bride said IT'S BUBBLES! After their dance, I opened the floor up to everyone and the bubbles definitely brought them out, especially the kids. All kids love bubbles. I used about 1/4 of a 2 liter bottle of Gazzilion Bubbles over a 3 hour period. I didn't leave the machine running but maybe 30 seconds at a time because of the amount that was being blown around! About every 5 minutes or so, I'd give it a little hit for a few seconds, just to keep a bubble going around. I was amazed at the distance the remote worked from. I was standing at least 75' away and it was still controlling the machine, even without the little antenna pulled out. It was most definitely a hit with everyone. I don't think I'd have used it indoors though because of a slip factor but outdoors, yes.

I've bought 3 or 4 bubble machines for my three kids. All of them have broken within a few days, except this one. It's all metal, and has quality parts. The fan looks like a high RPM server cooling fan. It holds enough fluid for about 40 minutes of continuous bubbles. It puts out gazillions of bubbles, and works in windy conditions. We use it inside sometimes too, it's fun to fill the whole room with bubbles. I never have to get out of breath blowing bubbles manually for my children again!

So far so good this is the third bubble maker I purchased, first one that’s a plug-in type. The last two were the tornado and other gazillion brand models; both died within a week or two due to contamination in the battery compartment of the fluid... they just stop working. This one puts out more bubbles faster and I like the large reservoir. Only down falls is the cord and basically small and medium size bubbles.... with the tornado you got really big bubbles sometimes which was cool.
Update... 9 months later and still going strong!

We have probably purchased 5 or 6 kids bubble machines in the last two years. We were tired of kids bubble machines constantly breaking so we sprung for an affordable/high quality bubble machine. The main housing is made of metal with a plastic basin installed for holding the mixture. The basin for loading the bubble mixture into is a bit deeper than the wands can reach, so there is definitely mixture left in the container that the bubble wand can't reach. Higher end models have a curved base so a higher percentage of the mixture can be used before needing a refill. When bubbles stop blowing there is still a decent amount of mixture in the basin.

There are three settings for the power switch II / 0 / I. The II is for operation by remote, which has a lock / unlock symbol on it. Not exactly relevant and makes the device feel cheap, but it is a cheaper bubble machine. The I is for constant motion.
The rotating bubble wand doesn't want to start moving on it's own consistently, it needs a little help to get going. This is easily achieved by giving a little tap or tug to get the wand going. The only complication is figuring out which way it's supposed to be spinning. The rotating bubble wand rotates in both directions, so if you stop and restart the machine it is likely to spin in the other direction.

The fan is not very high-powered, so if set on ground level, the bubbles will mostly hit the ground within the first couple of feet of exiting the machine. This is of course dependent on wind conditions. The machine was definitely built to be mounted on an elevated surface. Because of the design, it can't be leaned at an angle to aim the bubbles upwards. You'll need to set this machine at least 3 feet up off the ground for the best experience for kids playing. We set ours on a stool or deck railing. Although that does leave it at risk for a potential fall, the metal casing seems like it could survive a drop or two, but I won't be testing that for the sake of the review.

So far we are happy with this unit, once we figured out a couple of quirks. 4 out of 5 stars due to needing to manually help the wand start it's rotation and the potential concern for

As soon as the company learned that I had an issue with the 1st item that I bought and eventually returned, they sent me another unit FREE OF CHARGE and requested me to give it another try. I thought this gesture spoke of their Excellent Customer Service - not resting until their customer is satisfied. I used the machine several times in the last 30 days and it worked perfectly fine.I highly recommend this product for 2 reasons: (1) it works as advertised and (2) if there are issues, the company will work hard to address it, until the customer is satisfied. I attached some pictures of my son enjoying all the bubbles this machine makes. We also used it in a friends wedding

Definitely puts out the bubbles. Unfortunately the wheel needs help turning initially. After I manually start it by hand it continues on its own. This is makes the remote useless. However, it worked for what I needed it for.
An update to my review... this company made several attempts to resolve the issue after receiving my 1st review. At first, I ignored their requests assuming too much time had passed and I would not be able to satisfactory resolve my issue. Through their persistence I have been sent a replacement at no additional cost. Although a bubble machine doesn’t make my day, this kind of customer service does!! I apploud the company and recommend the product on the customer service alone. Thanks again!

So -- my Doberman pinscher LOVES to chase bubbles.... Put a bubble machine on the deck and he'll run around the yard entertaining himself chasing bubbles. My fiancé and I purchased several of the "cheap-o" bubble machines from Target/Walmart. The problem with those is 1) the take batteries which I difficult/messing to change and 2) don't hold much bubble solution -- and 3) they simply don't last.

This machine solves those problems.... Plugs in to an outlet so that makes it easy, it holds a LOT of bubble solution, and it seems to be heavy duty. So why 3 stars? My unit arrive and I had some issues with the switch. Didn't always work when I turned it on after only a couple weeks. To be fair -- I contacted the company and they offered to replace the unit and even sent me a shipping label to send it back. I didn't have a box handy to send it back so I figure I'll give it a shot to fix it myself. I opened it up and disconnected/reconnected the switching mechanism and haven't had an issue since. If I have further problems I'll send it back.....

UPDATE: -- Minor issue with the bubble machine was dealt with by the company perfectly. Could not be happier with the customer service and my dog LOVES his bubbles......

Good Design, But Could Be Better

This is a much better and more durable machine than most of the cheap plastic ones I've seen. It works well, and is elegantly simple in design: It's basically just a small fan blowing air through a paddle wheel with bubble wands attached.

Although it's good, it could be so much better. Seeing the poor execution here makes me want to become a bubble engineer.

The rotation rate of the wands should be faster, the wands should have a mixture of large and smaller holes in the wands, and the fan ducts should be lengthened.

I say all this because this machine doesn't really put out bubbles at a faster rate than the cheaper units, and it's absolutely useless if there's any wind. I think with these slight improvements, the machine could be more versatile.

We have a puppy that is obsessed with bubbles so we decided to get her this remote control bubble machine. She loves it and now all she wants to do is play with bubbles. It has been really abused but continues working well. But now she is more obsessed than ever. Several times she has knocked it over and bubble juice went everywhere but it still works well.
