I loved the fact that Ms. Greywood tied her book to the original Bridgewater Series by Vanessa Vale. I thought that in this first book of the Bridgewater Brides series, she incorporates Ann, Robert, and Andrew from Ms. Vale’s first book in her series. This book was well-written. Her characters are well-developed. This includes both her primary and secondary characters. The main characters are strong, determined, focused, confident yet vulnerable. They grow as the story progresses. I thought it as clever to make this an inter-racial romance. I enjoyed her use of strong dialog. I thought the use of a dual point of view to tell this tale was great. One point of view is Madeline’s. The other is a combined point of view for Justin and Caleb. Ms. Greywood’s use of descriptive language paints vibrant scenes. Madeline’s adventure across the country disguised as a man was ingenious. It speaks to her strength of character. The JC Ranch landscape scenes, like the one where Madeline enjoys her first snow fall by catching snowflakes on her tongue are precious. Scenes like this draw readers into her story while endearing her characters to readers.
I enjoyed this story - it stayed true to the original series, featured familiar characters, has a unique storyline and had some very sexy scenes. You can feel the emotions of the characters - love, fear, loneliness, happiness, pain and even the sexual longing - from the great writing by the author. I had a hard time putting this book down until the end. For any fan of Vanessa Vale and the Bridgewater series, this book is a must read!
On that note, Raisa Greywood did a freaking fabulous job writing characters that I fell in love with. It’s also full of friendship, angst, high heat. I will definitely be anxiously awaiting the next book!
Such great and fun stories!!! This story is both naughty and fun to read. As per other Bridgewater stories this one is not very long but has such fun context... If you like MFM and historical western romances this one might be just up your alley. I can at least say that I enjoyed it very much.

And along comes Maddy running from her home town and her wicked step mother as well as the man she wants her to marry.... which will never happen. She has what she needs and her horse prince.
Then she meets her husband.... or should i say husbands... Justin and Caleb who quickly become her everything.
I really enjoyed this book it brings a fresh breath of air to the series. My only criticism is i hate these bonus contents i prefer epilogues.
