NO GO --OH CRAP! no juice at all out of the power supply. I tested each lead and no voltage at all with the exception of the 120v input voltage out of the power cord.......... That want help.... a cord that works but a power supply that don't. Because I collected the parts over a three month period I can not return the unit so it is a nice black box with wires that does nothing but collect dust and take up space. I can't return it because Amazon has a small return window which it just missed. Again OH CRAP! All in All they probably are good power supplies, just this one was a quality control reject that slipped by at my cost............Good Luck!!!!!!!

I would say be carful putting it in it will fight back also a downside is when you have bad OCD and cable management comes into play you’ll be struggling until 5am in the morning hahaha I did also I noticed the cords are thick and when the back panel gets placed on you have to do some spider stuff if your panels or cases doesn't have cable room thank god mine did just the power cord made it tough to close
And the smell went away after three months of gameplay use. The fan let’s talk about it it’s so quite I have to check and make sure it’s even running hahaha like damn but overall good power supply amazing cord covers and the cord coloring doesn’t bother me when rgb lighting hits it the cords color changes so I’m okay with them I will add pictures of it in my system today!!

Have a new case and I would say this psu is definitely meant for a full tower because I have the thermaltake core x71 tempered glass and it fits perfectly fine in the bottom bay no mess at all perfect this psu definitely is worth buying and the smell is completely gone
But what really distinguishes a power supply I love from one i don't? How much noise it makes. I'm very sensitive to computer hum and hoped this would be as quiet as advertized.
Man it is. When I first booted up, I actually thought it wasn't working because I didn't hear anything and the fan is very dark colored so it wasn't visually obvious that it was spinning. I have a passively cooled video card and a high quality and quiet cooler on my CPU. My computer is so quiet you can put your head right next to it and you won't be able to tell whether it's on or not. In large measure the credit for that goes to Thermaltake.

I just overclocked my RAM (but not by a bunch) and noticed that suddenly the system wasn't that quiet any more. I guess this thing really scales the speed to how much power it is using and that seemingly small overclock was enough to tip the scales. I undid the overclock to get back the quiet I so treasure.
For reference, my system contains:
MSI X470 Gamer Pro motherboard
Ryzen 7 2700 CPU
Nvidia GT 1030 video card
2 SSD drives

Although some will argue that I needed a higher wattage, this 500Watt power supply is working perfectly.
I have an AMD Ryzen 2700+, SSDs and a RTX 2080 graphics card with it's own power supply connector.
This 500 watt gem powers it all no problem.

Exactly as advertised;

- YES, it does have TWO connectors for PCI-E/Video (its a 2-in-one-setup - one line, two connectors)
NOTE: the stickers/Decals on the sides and top (white/black) are a little more vibrant than they seem on the pics, almost to the point of being cheezey - this ~may~ conflict with your color sheme .. this did not effect this build thou.

Install was easy and the fans were quiet.
Upon using this power supply with a bunch of new components I hit an issue where my new Graphics Card would not power on. I thought possibly it did not have enough juice, so I tried an older card I already owned that required less power (only 35w to be exact). Things booted up just fine, however about 10-15 minutes later after experiencing many Blue Screens of Death (some for memory some for my drives etc.) I stopped getting display to my monitor. Upon returning my old card to it's original system I found it did not work anymore. I can only conclude that this power supply was faulty and damaged both of my GPUs and possibly other things. Very unlucky.
I have been charged twice for this item as well. While only receiving one refund. So its as if I have not been refunded at all. I am currently out $67.79 for this item until I can reach customer service.
I would recommend spending some more money on a reliable power supply. Aim for at least $100. An 80+ rating only relates to efficiency, but generally speaking go for bronze and up to be safe. Go for reputable companies like EVGA and Corsair. Thermaltake is one of these companies but this being one of their cheaper PSUs I took the risk and it looks like I got unlucky here.
