Call me nuts, but I like these older Thomas shows with the actual model trains more than the newer versions with the CGI animations. Yeah, they can do more stuff with CGI versions, but there is just something more simple and fun about this older version.

And my train obsessed 2 year old LOVES this version. So I'm glad it's on Prime.

Each episode is 11 minutes and has 2 short 5 minute segments. So it's perfect for the attention span of a small child and doesn't overdo on screen time when you use it as a special treat.

It's a sweet, completely family friendly fun little show. And best of all it's totally watchable as an adult. It's not one of the kid shows that makes you want to bash you face against a wall. (I'm looking at you, The Wiggles).

I love this series and totally recommend it.

So nice to have a complete season of Thomas & Friends. Complete seasons are so hard to come by for American fans, so I'm very, very happy to have this. I'd be happier if it wasn't a digital exclusive AND an Amazon exclusive, but beggers can't be choosers, so I'll take it! I'm also thrilled that it's the George Carlin version. His narrations are the best.
