Salvage System is a beacon of hope, and a number of other races continue looking toward it as an inspiration for how to live and govern themselves, and—in some cases—for assistance in defending themselves and throwing off oppressive regimes.
But the galaxy is a big place, and many of the races in it aren’t friendly. Would these forces like to take over Salvage System and acquire its resources? Absolutely.
Fifteen incredible authors take you further into the Salvage Title universe, giving you looks at some of the beacons of hope…and some of the malevolence that has yet to show its face. Can Harmon Tomeral and his friends hold out against it? Take a look inside and find out!

Sci-fi author Ian J. Malone has written in a variety of arenas over the years, ranging from public health to news and sports. When it comes to his fictional work, he’s a firm believer that nothing shapes a person’s writing like experience. That’s why he credits his tenures in radio, law enforcement, and military contracting for much of his inspiration, plus the legion of family and friends who’ve stood with him along the way.
Beyond writing, Malone serves as co-host of “The Dudes in Hyperspace Podcast” and is an avid fan of audiobooks (he’s legally blind). It’s also not uncommon to find him at a ballgame, a concert, or somewhere out by a grill.
Malone is an active member of the International Association of Science Fiction and Fantasy Authors and a resident of Raleigh, North Carolina — but he’ll always be a “Florida boy” at heart.

In a previous lifetime, William Joseph Roberts was an F-15 mechanic and Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force. He has traveled the world and experienced many things in his few years. During this lifetime, he has been called a Jack of all trades, a Renaissance man, and an insane squirrel wrangler by his peers.
Since his enlistment ended, he has perused careers as an industrial and architectural designer, design engineer, award winning author, editor, and publisher with Three Ravens Publishing.
William Joseph Roberts currently resides in the quaint southern town of Chickamauga, Georgia with his loving wife, three freaky-smart nerd children, and a small pack of fur babies.
Marisa Wolf was born in New England, and raised on Boston sports teams, Star Wars, Star Trek, and the longest books in the library (usually fantasy). Over the years she majored in English in part to get credits for reading (this...only partly worked), taught middle school, was headbutted by an alligator, built a career in education, earned a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and finally decided to finish all those half-started stories in her head.
She’s currently based in Texas, but has moved into an RV with her husband and their two ridiculous rescue dogs, and it's anyone's guess where in the country she is at any given moment. Learn more at www.marisawolf.net

Alex Rath is a best-selling Science Fiction and Post-Apocalyptic author, currently residing in Columbia, South Carolina, with his wife and elite gymnast daughter.
With works published in the Four Horsemen Universe, This Fallen World, and the Salvage Title universe, Alex has now spread out with his own Colonization Science Fiction with the Terran Space Project, starting with "Seeds of Terra."
By day, Alex is an IT professional, and has been for 25+ years. He has worked as a programmer/developer, webmaster, information security specialist, and solutions design specialist. This background allows him to incorporate some technical savvy into his stories, while his experience interacting with non-technical customers allows him to do so in a way that isn't confusing, or 'too technical' for a layperson to understand.
Robert E. Hampson, PhD, is a Neuroscientist and author. By day, he is a professor at Wake Forest School of Medicine, studying how our brains encode memory. By night, he writes military, adventure and hard-science Science Fiction as well as nonfiction articles explaining science to the general public.
Robert's SF writing career began with several pieces of short fiction published in 2015. He now has three collaborative novels in the Four Horsemen Universe (Seventh Seal Press) and two solo novels—one forthcoming in 2023 from Baen Books. He has co-edited two anthologies, published more than 25 works of short fiction.
Dr. Hampson's scientific career has concentrated on understanding the effect of drugs, disease, and injury on human memory, with the goal of developing a medical device to restore human memory function. He is a teacher, researcher, reviewer, scientific journal editor, and consultant. His website is http://REHampson.com.
Brisco Woods was born and raised in the Appalachian region of East Tennessee. His first pair of boots were issued to him by the USAF when he showed up to basic training in homespun pants and bare feet. The Air Force, in all its wisdom, thought he would be a great candidate to work on nuclear ICBM’s, so he was sent to the cornfields of Illinois to learn what an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile was. After some intense training and discovering what real winter was, he thought, off he went on his first over seas assignment, to North Dakota.
Through his career of 23 years in the US Air Force, he went on to work on avionics equipment on several different air frames and then spent his last 4 years in Command and Control. He eventually got tired of going into work on the ground floor and taking an elevator down to the concrete cave that was his life, and retired.
After having to write a separate resume for every job he was applying for, he decided “to hell with this” and became a Realtor.
Upon seeing how successful his little brother and sister were as authors, he caved in to his brothers constant jabbering about writing and made a story in the Fallen World universe that this same brother had created.
Since the first story was received well, he has branched out to some SciFi and done a few of stories in Kevin Steverson’s Salvage Universe. He also completed a novel from the original Fallen World tale, another short story in Among The Embers, and a novel from the character introduced there. He has an immediate follow up to that novel and two in the Salvage Title universe in the work with more to come.
Nick Steverson is your everyday, blue-collar liquor vendor. Using his class-A CDL he delivers wine and liquor from Pensacola to Tallahassee. When not on the road, he takes as many opportunities as possible to write down the chaotic musings of the deranged voices in his head. Since he was young, he has always wanted to write a book, but never took the time to actually sit down and do it. His wife and children were, and remain, his first priority, leaving little time for much else. Inspiration to make the time came from his father one night after sending a text about an idea about a race of characters for his father’s books. The last answer he expected to get was, “You write it,” but that’s exactly what he got. So, he did. Sometimes, all it takes is a little nudge in the right direction, and the story writes itself. He now has multiple publications in the Salvage Title Universe including a wide variety of novels and several short stories. Additionally, he has short stories in the Four Horsemen Universe, Starflight Universe, and This Fallen World. He’s not done yet, though. There are many more stories to come.

Recommended and for the most part it's very much a standalone book, though things will make a bit more sense if you're at least up on the first couple of books in the trilogy, so you understand what's happening and why.
From the blood and fire of Cullen’s last kiss to one about an alien spy who actually finds the space crew he didn’t know he was looking for, you won’t be disappointed. There are many references to 20th century rock and roll plus plenty of fun movie references to keep you happy and connected! Loved it!
This read was fun all the way through. Kudos to Chris Kennedy Publishing for another great collection.
I enjoyed each story and the authors . One of these days I'm going to have to list story, author etc. I believe my time and money is well spent.
Good writing with strong characters and plot lines . . . .
