Tied: All Torn Up, Book 2 Audible Audiobook – Unabridged
Me: My childhood was stolen by a monster. I've forgotten what love feels like. What happiness feels like. What hope feels like. I am numb.
Him: He's possibly as damaged as I am. Maybe even more. Scarred just as much on the inside as the outside. Just like me. He doesn't speak. He doesn't smile. He hides in the woods like an animal. I should be scared of him, but I'm not. He's the only one that has ever made me feel. And I want to make him feel, too. Everything....

Carian Cole's storytelling in Tied is exquisite. Her portrayal of Tyler and Holly's journey, both as individuals and together, hauntingly beautiful. It is irrevocably soul piercing. I had to stop at points throughout to catch my breath and wipe away tears. The compassion and care Tyler gives to Holly leaves you aching - this man - broken in both body and mind, deeply pained from his own demons, working so hard to care and mend Holly's shattered soul is beyond breathtaking. Holly's soulful sweetness toward him despite her own trauma, delicately tender. And their joint resolve to heal honest and pure. The love that comes from their shared pain and experiences blinds the universe with their determined light and is beyond mortal comprehension.
Their story, of Holly's horrific ordeal and Tyler's self tortured life violently binds itself to your heart as you read. I could not put this book down! And still have tears streaming down my face as I write this. Tied touched me in ways I can't yet admit. Leaving me in a deeply reflective state...
I personally related to Tied in unexpected ways. As a daughter of a father who lived with similar life demons that led him down a path of alcohol and addiction which ultimately took his life I sobbed at Tyler's pain. As a survivor of sexual abuse I understood Holly's struggle to understand and cope. Tied gutted me emotionally. It stripped my senses. It made me look back at the memories of my own childhood long ago buried and locked away. No book has ever touch my soul in such a unique and definitive way before.
I rarely buy physical books anymore, but this is one I must own beyond kindle form. It is hands down the best book I've read, ever.
I would like to say so many things about TIED, but I believe everyone should read it as I did, after TORN, and with no spoilers.....❤️🌼🔥
We met Tyler Grace in TORN, and I was glad TIED was his book...questions were answered about him and, with Holly Daniels, Tyler’s heart thawed, his walls crumbled, and his true nature emerged.....He was the only one who truly understood Holly, because he cared enough to listen to her....Her parents were cold and insensitive.....and, truthfully, their parts were hard to read...I was disgusted by their detachment from Holly....❤️🌼🔥
Tyler and Holly had been through more suffering physically and mentally, than any two should have to be, and they are definitely kindred spirits.... I loved Tyler’s tenderness with Holly and I love how their honesty with each other about their feelings kept “relationship games” out of their love story ....it was a breath of fresh air....I normally love all alpha males, and I believe Tyler Grace is, indeed, all alpha male, but real love can change a person to be what his true love needs him to be...and Tyler’s love and compassion for Holly showed his true character....The epilogue made me tear up....❤️🌼🔥
When I came to the end of this book, I was like “nooooo”, it can’t be over already. I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to these characters. They felt so real and I became attached to them. Their story totally blew me away. It was heart-wrenching and beautiful at the same time.

Two broken souls, two entirely different people but with a connection that can never be forgotten, this is Tyler and Holly. They have endured so much pain and heartache in their short time on earth, much more than some people get to experience in their life times and we the reader get to discover their journey, good and bad yes of course, but oh my the feels. Raw emotion erupts from every page but also a sense of peace and resolve. Told in duel perspective this book predominantly focus's on the two main characters really, there are secondary characters of course but they are really very much in the background and this is the way it should be because all your attention, the holding of your breath, the moments when your heart sinks to the pit of your stomach, moments of complete and utter joy; this author has given her everything to this book and in turn gifted it to her readers .
I love the way this author incorporates nature and animals and their welfare into the books that I have read, it makes it just that little more special. The cover is once again perfect and Carian has captured Holly and Tyler perfectly.
That bonus chapter - kill me now, OMG what was she trying to do, gah total perfection, I could hardly see through the tears. Magnificent in all ways possible. Please I need more !!!!
This is a very special fairy tale....I hope you take the time to read it.
I cannot wait to see which Grace sibling is getting their own story next 😀
Like the first book in this series, the author puts a unique angle on the romance. Two mangled souls, two broken lives, two hearts in need of each other.
The somewhat slow start can be forgiven as I love the author's way with words, and the narrative picks up pace as the story unwinds.
Looking for an unconventional love story? Tick. Looking for a heartwrenching, raw emotions? Tick. Looking for sweet romance and erotic-as-hell sex? Tick.
I also love the way the author works animal wellfare into her books. It adds beautifully to her works.
I'll be reading more of Carian Cole.
