"The author's creative genius never ceases to amaze me. She writes with such a flair for building on her characters' interactions with one another that as soon as you think you know everything there is to know about the relationships between characters, there is always something new and different going on that surprises the reader. Casey also has a flair for dialogue, particularly Jayne's talent for coming up with new ways to use every dirty word you thought had already been used in every possible way imaginable!" ~ BigBangBookGeek, Amazon Reviewer
"Another Elle Casey book I couldn't put down. This is a GREAT continuation of the story and you really need to start at the beginning before reading this one. This series is one of the few that actually has made me laugh out loud, say "No way", and sit on the edge of my seat all within a chapter or two." ~ Gary Wilson, Amazon Reviewer
"She does it again. I absolutely love this series. I would love to meet each and every character because they are each hilarious. I was so surprised that there was more to this story, but so happy as well..."~ Amelia Beatty, Goodreads reviewer

"Time Slipping" is the first of these new additions to the series, and it doesn't disappoint! Jayne and the other changelings from Miami are at it again!
I hate reviews that include spoilers, so I won't write much about specifics, but the author has such a creative flair that by the end of the book my adrenaline was pumping as much as Jayne's!
Although a couple of new characters are introduced, "Time Slipping" centers mostly on the group from Miami in a new situation that I think was a brilliant move by the author. Prior to reading this book I re-read the entire series, and "Time Slipping" pretty much picks up where the previous book, "Portal Guardians" ends, with Jayne preparing to spend time with Biad the dragon, who is the new portal guardian to the Underworld. As usual with any of Jayne's new undertakings things don't work out quite as planned.
The author's creative genius never ceases to amaze me. She writes with such a flair for building on her characters' interactions with one another that as soon as you think you know everything there is to know about the relationships between characters, there is always something new and different going on that surprises the reader. Casey also has a flair for dialogue, particularly Jayne's talent for coming up with new ways to use every dirty word you thought had already been used in every possible way imaginable! So, if you are easily offended by a little "colorful" language, consider yourself forewarned!
The last few chapters of "Time Slipping" are heart stopping and really got my adrenaline pumping! And, just as you think you have everything figured out, watch out for a huge plot twist! Finally, as with all of the other books in "The War of the Fae", series, and with what has become something of a signature of this author, "Time Slipping" ends with a huge cliffhanger, which only leaves the reader wanting more.
I cannot wait for the next book!
This book is a fantastic extension to the series. I adore the relationship with Jayne and the new dragon. The writing is fantastic .,. I highlighted many of the quotes to remember them. Great work, Elle Casey, keep them coming!
Readers... hang on for the ride .. there are twists and turns in this one that you won’t see coming!

Jayne and Tim still make these stories for me. They have me laughing out loud with their relationship and the things they come out with. Don't get me wrong I love everyone else too, these two just have my heart. Closely followed by Spike.
The story itself had me sooooo hooked. I needed to know what was happening and why. How a normal trip cold turn and go so horribly wrong, mind you it's not like Jayne has the best luck. It was so intriguing how all of these little things were happening and building for everything to turn and basically go to hell.
I love the introduction of Ish and Orthello and what the bring to this new chapter of the War of the Fae. And I can't wait tonfind out more about them and what part they play in the next book as they clearly have some huge relevance. And I need to know what becomes of Judith and her wicked games.
