Tom Robertson was born in Joliet, Illinois and attended Catholic schools for eight years, where he first learned to negotiate, on more than a few occasions reducing his sentence to time served for various venial sins and classroom transgressions. He graduated from the University of Illinois, where he played varsity baseball, and holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Chicago. Tom lives in the suburbs of Chicago.
