The best Toy Story thus far...
Verified purchase
Toy Story 2 is the best of the three released Toy Story films, but I'm looking forward to Toy Story 4 this June. It has loads of action, adventure, and fun scenes. It tells the story of how Woody belongs to a TV show called "Woody's Roundup" from the 1950s, along with Jessie, Bullseye, and Stinky Pete, the Prospector. Toy collector, Al McWiggins, finds Woody at a yard sale at Andy's house, and steals him for his collection, in which he plans to send to Tokyo, Japan. Woody must convince the others that being loved by a kid is far better than being in a glass case, and he also must find a way back home. Overall, this film shows that teamwork and bravery can come in all sizes, and that there's always a friend in you!

Didn’t receive Special Edition
Verified purchase
I was supposed to receive a Special Edition DVD which I purchased as Cmas gift for my grandson but the DVD I received was just the basic DVD. I don’t have enough time to return it now and receive the proper item so I’m really disappointed.

As good as the first installment
Verified purchase
Sequels rarely please, but Toy Story 2 is as good as Toy Story. I didn't care much for Toy Story 3 - these are supposed to be family toys so the mom would never have gotten rid of them even if Andy didn't want them..and I doubt if I'll go see Toy Stry 4. But 1 and 2 I watch about every three months.

What a great wife I must have
Verified purchase
I'm going to give this an automatic five stars. Not because I've purchased or know anything about the product, but because I just found out logging into my account that my wife used my account to buy this product without telling me and I just found out when I logged in. My wife is literally the best and I hope there are others out there who are as lucky as me. Love seeing my money disappear to things I had no idea about. For all you single folks out there, find you someone who knows how to spend your money and not tell you about it, you have no idea what you're missing!

Great sequel
Verified purchase
Very good follow up to an amazing original. Offers additional emotional development and complexity to a complementary story of buzz saving Woody.....tough competition, but probably the least-great of the three. Hardly a knock on this movie.

Damaged plastic
Verified purchase
Toy Story 2 is my favorite CGI animated movie. So when I got the nostalgia bug I decided to buy the VHS version for a collection I'm building. Unfortunately, the product was damaged. Not the tape itself but rather the plastic surrounding it. Kinda disappointed right now.

Cute Movie!
Verified purchase
It was a cute movie, we really enjoyed watching it. I love the way Bo Peep turns out to be a strong woman fighting for other hurt toys. And Woody's love and loyalty to her to help others. A good analogy on life, how we can give up just a little of ourselves for the sake of others in need. Loved it! There were a couple of spots that the movie was a little slow but with the wonderful ending it doesn't matter.

Be careful

I don't remember going through the zillions of pages to order this item. I must have hit some button that instantly ordered it. I do not like videos that I cannot own on DVD. I have no way of returning this. I wasn't even given a choice as to what card to put it on. From now on I will not even go to pages selling greedy Disney movies that they won't let you buy a perpetual license to.
