Blog postIt's been way too long since I posted here. I apologize for being long absent, but life got in the way as it often does. Hopefully we can do a little catching up.
I just returned from a research trip to Duluth, MN. It was amazing and I learned a great deal on the trip. I also bought up enough research books to keep me busy for quite some time. And yes, there will be an upcoming series set in Duluth. More to come on that later.

Blog postYou’ve written in the CBA market for more than 25 years, acted as a managing editor for Heartsong Presents and as a founding member of the American Christian Fiction Writers—a front-row seat to many of the changes in the industry. What has stood out to you the most since you started writing?

Blog postFall has come to Montana. The mountains have received their first good dousing of snow and now as the temperatures get colder the snow capping will remain until next summer.
I love Montana and the colder weather. I've never done well in the heat and since learning about having MS - it's really no wonder. My body just doesn't regulate the temperature in my body properly, so warm weather, stuffy Walmarts, and hot, humid climates just don'6 years ago Read more -
Blog postJust got back from hearing the Bozeman Symphony perform Ode to Joy - Beethoven's 9th. Amazing is the only word that comes to mind.
Bozeman definitely has its share of talented people and the orchestra that perform is no exception. I've always been a great fan of Beethoven's 9th anyway and this was such a neat way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

In 1869, Gloriana Womack's family is much smaller since smallpox killed her mother and two of her siblings. She lives in a modest cottage in Duluth, Minnesota, with her father and young brother, and she has dedicated her life to holding her tiny, fractured family together--especially as her father is frequently gone on long fishing trips. Their livelihood may come from the waters of Lake Superior, but storms on the lake can be dangerous, even to those who know it well.
Luke Carson has come to Duluth to help shepherd the arrival of the railroad to the city's port, and he's eager to be reunited with his brother, Scott, who recently moved there with his pregnant wife. Competition for the railroad is fierce, with the neighboring city of Superior, Wisconsin, fighting for the tracks to come through their town instead. But the real danger lies in a resident of Duluth who is determined to have his revenge upon Luke.
When tragedy brings Gloriana and Luke together, they help each other through their grief and soon find their lives inextricably linked. If they survive the trials ahead, could it be possible they've been destined for each other all along?
