For those of you with gas stoves, this probably won't be an issue; your grates will hold the pan regardless of its warp. However, for anyone who has a glass-top or induction flat stove, I suggest you consider another product.
Okay, so now the root of this review is simple, the pan WARPED in under a month. Now understand that I am an amateur chef with all the kitchen wares one could imagine. I know how to take care of all my kitchen stuff to have it last. That's why I won't hesitate to spend more money on something I know will perform better and last longer than the cheaper stuff.
I treated this pan with care, like all of my kitchen investments. Always let it cool down before washing, never took it over the recommended temperature, never dry heated it for extended periods of time and still it warped. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. Maybe I got a fluke? Maybe mine was defective and the rest were/are not? This I do not know. All I know is that in my experience I could not recommend this pan. In fact, I'll go as far as to say look elsewhere and stay away from this pan. I hate to write this Tramontina but this pan is crap.
Now this pan will be for basic non-essential foods that aren't fussy about even heat distribution. Like in the oven. Because on the stove top this thing spins like a bowl and everything in it shifts to whatever side it wants.
Just a heads up, I hope this review can help at least one person make an informed decision. If so it was worth my time.

The depth specified is 3.15 inches, but in practice it is only 2 inches (about 1 mm more on the outside, and 2 mm less on the inside). This is a HUGE difference! Doesn't Tramonita realize that one of the most important specifications is size?!
Now I must return it and look for something else.
The pan has excellent balance and the rubber handle is nice. I would recommend following the care instructions that come with the pan and following them prior to its first use. It's been great for searing chicken, steak, pork and also for making omelettes or simply frying some potatoes. Let the pan cool and just wipe dry with a paper towel. Also, remember...
Don't cook with this pan on high heat. We usually keep the pan around 5 or 6 on our stove and it works great. (Ours goes from Lo-2 thru 9-High). Don't use non-stick cooking spray with this pan. Use oil or butter. That's a given. SEASON YOUR PAN. The instructions are quite simply and are literally written on the insert when you open up your pan. DO IT.
For Godsakes don't use metal in this pan. Silicone or Wooden utensils. Finally HAND WASH THIS PAN. Don't put this thing in the dishwasher unless you have money to throw away to buy a new pan once a week.
tl;dr This is a great pan for the price. So long as you have an IQ above 80 and take care of this pan, it will last for years.
