A good read, self-published!

I had been on the hunt for a good self-published book for kids, and I found one! After scrolling through ages of diary of a wimpy kid ripoffs and fart books, I have found a excellent self-published book. I would say this would be good for reluctant reader boys aged anywhere from 7, but maybe up to, 13.
I really felt it was important to let you know that I'm not one to treat a self-published book as a traditionally published book because I know there is a lot of junk out there, and that I found this publisher quality.
Verdict: A good read, self-published!

Cut and taped back together!

Have not read the book yet. BUT I did skim through and instantly noticed many of the pages were cut/torn and glued/taped back together, very disappointing to buy a BRAND NEW book and have it come damaged!

I bought this for my 8 year old son who loves to read. He told me that he didn't want to disappoint me, but he read the 1st 5 pages and wasn't interested. I was surprised because the reviews were so good. So it will sit on our bookshelf.....maybe his little brothers will read it someday.

This book sucks the first few pages make NO SENSE if you see any other people who are saying cool and 5 stars there wrong because I'm a actual kid and I READ THE BOOK well not the whole book but some of it just makes no sense at all so to the parents who are looking for a GOOD book for your kid to read this holiday this isn't the thing but it did come with no scratches or dents but still don't buy

According to my child, the book was pretty moderate to read. However, the book itself when read alone was pretty boring for him. Vice versa when read with a teacher it was a little interesting. He prefered more colors in the pages rather than black and white pictures. The content itself was very exhilarating but when it came to the pictures of the book, it needed more.
