Just a heads up to anybody considering this item: mine arrived in full packaging, appearing to be brand new... but then had someone else’s short and curlies nestled into the blade and inside trimmer head. Now being a cowboy myself, I just went ahead and cleaned it off with hot water before I went on to use it, the results being satisfactory. So this review is not so much a complaint as it is a fair warning to potential buyers who might be put off by a discovery like that.

I admit my nether region gets a tad unruly at times it's like taking a machete through jurrasic park and I have tried many methods to tame it from scissors to different kinds of electric trimmers these trimmers from meridian are the most expensive and THE BEST I have ever used. Maybe it is the ceramic blade maybe it the extra powerful motor maybe it's the super comfortable shape and grip. I'm sure it's a little bit of all three. The point is they work and they dont bite the tender bits. I did get one pinch but that was more my fault than the clippers I needed to use a little more tension. The only drawback to these is the charging cable has to be plugged into a USB port.

Blades don’t dull easily, works great for dry and wet shaves. Go slowly where the skin is a little more... loose because it can catch pretty easily (that’s where it loses a star for me). You definitely know it’s caught before it causes any actual damage which is something I appreciate. I have used for a total of maybe an hour and a half and I still have not had to charge it. Cleans super easily and the guards it comes with work great and they’re very stable so you won’t go bald by mistake. Cuts through a high density of hair pretty quickly and easily; outside of a few nicks here and there it’s a great trimmer and I will definitely be using it for a long time.

I was very curious to try this product as it’s BIG selling point was “no more nicks”. Well that was absolutely incorrect. Used it now 3 times and have given myself 4 unpleasant nicks and believe me I use all male grooming clippers with great care!!!!!

Avoid this product on the basis that you still can get nasty nicks where they say you don’t.

Lovely looking piece of kit though. Sadly will bin it!!
