The Trouble with Ghosts (Here Witchy Witchy Book 3) Kindle Edition
PIB agents Abigail Collins and Nick Averin are rattled when a handful of severed thumbs are found at an abandoned house, but neither of them expected it to link to a decades old murder with strange ties to the paranormal world. When Abby’s greatest enemy seems to be helping her from afar, it’s clear that there’s more to this case than the duo first believed.
Past cases come back to life…
Levi is avoiding questions and being even more vague than normal when a new vampire comes to town claiming to be on the case involving blood starved vampires. It’s a fight against time and lies for the two agents.

The Trouble with Ghosts is a great combination of mystery, magic and action. A mystery within mysteries had the hamster wheel turning and trying to figure out WHO DID WHAT? I try not to compare series to one another but Here Witchy Witchy does carry the feel of The Hollows series by Kim Harrison, without all the whining and selfishness. Abby is strong and a wonderfully stable female character. She holds her own and takes charge, she isn’t just along for a ride in her own story.
The only downside was honestly the layering of the different mysteries. I was having a hard time keeping them straight. Severed thumbs, starved vampires, imploding houses, exploding buildings…I wanted to give Abby a beer. Never fully confused, but that wheel upstairs was really whirling.
The Trouble with Ghosts didn’t end in a cliffhanger, but with the larger (and ongoing) mystery unsolved. I NEED ANSWERS DAMN IT. Luckily, I read this book just in time to snatch up the fourth book. If you don’t hear from me for a few days, you know where to find me.
I thoroughly enjoyed continuing the saga of Abigail Collins with this book, and getting to know her partner a little better in this book. He is one of my favorite's so far in the series, along with Merick. You will get a good dose of thrilling mystery that leaves you questioning what happens next IF you put the book down before finishing. Onward to book four!
