All in all, another enjoyable night on the town with Bosch.
The story has all the hallmark of a great detective story, like the usual plot of police procedural, the politics and interdepartmental disputes and the final scenes of catching the killer or killers. One thing, which makes the story/ plot so good and outstanding ( better than the TV episodes) is that, it not only comprised of all the elements of the so-called, the Seven Sins as with any crime and detective books, it also balanced out with human elements of regrets, sorrows, redemption, forgiveness, kindness and most importantly, love. It was a great story. My recommendation would be that to watch the TV show first and read the book later to avoid any disappointment than if you read the other way round.
