This is the second book in the monster hunter series and it is at least as good as the first. In this installment we get to see Alex grow into a confident young woman who is fiercely loyal to her new friends. Much of her awkwardness disappears, but enough remains to keep her the lovable character we met in the first book. All the characters from the first book return here. I highly recommend this series.

This one gets deeper into the life of the "monster" world and keeps you guessing as to who the bad guy or girl is. you get to know all of the characters from some of the prior books a little more and see a more indepth look at how 2 of them came across each other!

It's worth the money so get yourself a copy and continue your adventure with Alex and her friends I can't wait till book three comes out but for now Im going to start reading the Clair Wiche books instead I'm sure they are gonna be just as great as this series is :) keep them coming Cate and again happy reading to everyone out there :)
