Let’s begin with the positives, shall we?
Number one – it was free.
Number two - it was extremely short (took less than 40 minutes to read).
That’s about it for the positives. I’d give a rundown of the stories, but that would be pointless since some of the stories are only a page long, and one - "Tenth Day” – was a five line "poem" (for lack of a better word). I liked the idea of each story revolving around the 12 Days of Christmas; it had promise. But some of them were a stretch.
Out of the twelve, the only stories really worth reading were:
“Added” by Adam Blampied (Five golden rings)
“Geese” by Lance Davis (Six geese a’ laying)
“Seven” by Mir Plemmons (Seven swans a’ swimming)
I noticed the book is now $0.99. If you can catch it for free, it’s worth it for those eight pages. Anything more than that and you’re better off passing on this one.
