Set in the insular world of Brighton Beach, Brooklyn, TWO LOVERS tells the story of Leonard, a charismatic but troubled young man who moves home following terrible heartbreak. While recovering, he meets two women in quick succession: Michelle (Paltrow), exotic, mysterious and beautiful; and Sandra, the lovely and caring daughter of a colleague of Leonard's father. With pressure mounting from his parents, Leonard is forced to make an impossible decision, or risk falling back into the darkness that nearly killed him.
