A no-strings-attached, online hook-up turns into a morning after disaster for twenty-something New Yorkers Alec (Miles Teller) and Megan (Analeigh Tipton). When a paralyzing blizzard hits the city, trapping them in Alec's cramped Brooklyn apartment, they are forced to get to know each other far beyond the confines of a typical one-night stand.

Sometimes awkward is the best starting point...

Loved this film. Genuine laughs, cute story. Miles Teller was outstanding. Didn't absolutely love all of "Megan's" dialog, but if Ms Tipton was trying to convey a vulnerable, defensive, lost girl who relies on sarcasm as a shield then I guess she did it. Maybe it just hit a little too close to home and I'm sensitive. But, seriously, these two seemed like real people and I totally dug it. It reminds me just how much fronting we do and how important honest and genuine communication is to any relationship.

This isn't any epic earth-shattering MUST SEE. BUT:
It is funny.
It is light.
Perfect for those who want an easy, light-hearted movie that isn't overly cheesy or raunchy.

This is my new favorite movie.

Okay, so I watch a lot of romcoms, and when I say a lot I mean the Hallmark channel just scratches the surface of my horribly wonderful movie choices. I eat up those sappy gross, lovey dovey, bs happy ending stories like a hungry sugar addicted kid in a candy store. I love them. And this. This glorious, awkward, cringy, hilarious, absurd love story is my new favorite. 1000000/10 will watch again. This feeds both my sass/sarcasm/snark and my sappy bs needs. Watch it. Just watch it.

Miles Teller is unstoppable

This movie proved that Miles Teller has all the potential to be one of my favorite up and coming actors. This was a fun, well played movie. It's a simple, no frills movie. Exactly what I wanted/needed to watch right now. I look forward to everything this guy i going to be starting in in the future. Good stuff.

Man, I just really love this movie. I decided I had to watch it because I saw that Analeigh Tipton (ANTM) and Miles Teller were in it. I'm not particularly in love with either of these people, but they both have a charm that REQUIRES me to watch anything either is in. This is a fun, hip, romantic comedy. It's short, too. It drags on in the middle just a touch, but that's ok because it's under 90 minutes. Great Charlie XCX opener.

Lots of chemistry between the characters. It's definitely something that you should watch over and over because it really grows on you like fungus.

An okay movie

'Two Night Stand' tries to talk about the shallow relationships brought in by online dating, but ironically misses the mark. No character growth is present, with Miles Teller (Alec) written as nothing more then charming, boyish funny character. No subversions here. Analeigh (Megan) is condescending and rude throughout. Kid Cudi is hilarious and the highlight of this film.

Overall, pretty predictable and had a few laughs, but it lacks the heart and character strength that another Teller film, 'The Spectacular Now' - has.

Wonderful chemisty!

A delightful movie. The story line, for me, had some weak spots but its concept is sound and the root underlying impulses to which it addresses are timeless--the human story of a young man and women seeking connection. However, the performances of Analeigh Tipton and Miles Teller more than make up for any other shortcomings. They had great chemistry. Analeigh conveyed emotional depth and wonderful expression through movement and words--her dancing scene around was magical and genuine, her timing was without a pause too long nor too short, and you cannot help but grow fond of her character. The same goes for Miles but in quite a different way--Analeigh was the one bubbling with youthful energy and quirkiness set against Miles's character, a young Minnesota guy, thoughtful, considerate, contemplative, and purposeful in seeking to connect with a lovely flower that had fallen into his life. In this age of independence and divorce, it is refreshing to see played out the desire in these two to ultimately try work through life's challenges. Certainly, two thumbs up for these two young actors!

Who knew I could cringe so much?!

This very low budget attempt at a romantic comedy started off alright but once the movie was ~20% into it, it went downhill quickly. The story is somewhat believable but the acting was bad. There is no chemistry between any of the characters so all the relationships and conversations are awkward. The sex scenes were full of cringe. Actually, there was plenty of cringe to go around. There were also a few nonsensical holes. For example, if a snow storm was so bad that it froze a door closed, forcing the 2 night stand, how did the door magically unfreeze after MORE snow had fallen when the girl was ready to leave? Also, if a toilet gets clogged by a single piece of paper, there is almost NO chance that water will flow out the toilet the way it did and also the fact that the paper remained intact and the dude unfolded the paper to read it is super gross. No hands were washed, no showers were had, and no teeth were brushed throughout the entire time of this "2 night stand". So, both people would've been foul smelling and stinky breathed. I would give 1 star but I'll give 2 stars because they attempted to diversify the cast.
