5.0 out of 5 starsVery good series I can’t wait for the next one!
Reviewed in the United States on March 3, 2021
I sometimes feel like I have nothing new to read and I’m just waiting for my favorite authors to put out new books. I have a hard time finding good authors. For example I was reading a dragon book that takes place on a red mostly desert planet with a red sky and very little water. The series started off to a great start but by book 8 I felt like it was written by a whole different writer who was working with an outline and had never read the series. So all along in the books the dragons are teaching humans how to live with little water and how difficult it was to find on this planet. But it is around this time book 7 or 8 or something close, that this human woman gets away from the caves that they live in behind a wall of stone wall that keeps the bad things out and she leaves this safety and finds a cave filled with a nice deep pool of hot water. The issue I have is that this woman doesn’t tell anyone else about it and just uses it to bathe herself everyday. The group of people in this book have to work so hard every day to get enough water for each person not to die and this woman would keep it secret. Not nice and probably not real. Supposedly, these dragons have been there for ages and they have a greatly enhanced sense of smell and they can’t find water a five minutes walk away? Then in one of them the ending went a certain way but in the next book it started off completely at odds with the previous book in the series. I believe in this one the main characters are looking up at a blue sky and I don’t remember what else but I don’t think I even finished it because I was so disgusted with the number of times in one book you contradict all that has happened in the past 6 or 7 books in the series. I think I was at 8 discrepancies when I wrote out my review of that book. This book series did pretty good at keeping track from one to the next. I understand that the next book will be on a different moon so that leaves it open for her to make everything new except the core part of dragons coming as guardians of parentless pod babies who they adopt out to women and grant them a farm and money to get started. Everything else is fair game. I’m really looking forward to the next set in this series but because this is where I started with Tasha Black I have a few other books to read while I wait. My hope is that this tells people that this is a great series and it tells the author that it is important for the enjoyment of a book series that each one has to be consistent with the other books. If you write a series you have to have a consistent backdrop and if the characters appear in multiple books that they are kept straight because we actually remember stuff like names and looks. Thank you. I apologize if you didn’t need all of this.

The first book in the series was interesting, although it lack some basic processes that should have been thought out and put into the story. This one was garbage. Insta love on the H’s part after 2 days, stupidly on the h’s part, just want to smack them both. They both need a whole bottle of common sense. It’s only 170ish pages and I’m struggling to finish.

Now I am stuck on another series by Tosha Black. I am so enjoying the series about aliens and the women that take their hearts. After Noxx and his people practically exterminated a species they now have an opportunity to build it back up. Using technology they begin to start that species again, only now a warrior is designated to look after the baby along with a female unknown to them. Luna is from Terran planet, to me it sounds like they are mostly human. She is now off with two other women to adopt a baby and raise it as her own, little does she know that a warrior comes with it. They both end up on the planet that was chosen for them to raise the alien child, and now their life begins. The descriptions in this book were amazing, bottom line is it is about bringing a family together and trying to make a community. They have their ups and downs, there is danger all around them, Luna is willing to accept all of these changes, but can she get Noxx to change with her? I love this book I cannot wait to keep reading this series

Phoebe comes from a wealthy family but she runs from her planned future. She adopts an alien baby that includes a move to a distant moon. There are unexpected difficulties, her baby Atlas comes with Tyro a guardian who will live with them until Atlas is 20 years old. Phoebe knows farming but her experience is on land and not underwater. Phoebe has the means to make farming work but her neighbors do not like her since she received the best farm and her neighbors are struggling to make ends meet. To make matters more difficult Phoebe starts having feelings for Tyro. The struggles start as soon as Phoebe lands on the moon and the struggles just seems to keep coming. This book caught my attentions and held me captive until the very end. A must red.

4.0 out of 5 stars Tyro and Phoebe

A great conclusion to this fun series. Tyro is the green Dragon Warrior of Invicta and he has his work cut out for him with Phoebe. Unlike the other two “mothers” she comes from a privileged background and a successful farm. She only has one thing in mind when it comes to the plot of land she was allotted for taking on the baby, set up a successful farming venture just like her father has but she is in for a big surprise when the farm she gets is totally underwater. Will she be able to make it a success? Will she lower her walls enough to let Tyro and by extension Atlas in? Will her secrets destroy everything before they can ever really begin?

I was really itching to slap Phoebe on the back of her head. Phoebe was cold, short, and pretty much an arrogant know-it-all. It wasn't too long before she got over it.

Tyro was patient with Atlas' new mom, and he had to make it clear he was there for the baby, not her. Of course, inwardly, Tyro's dragon was going nuts trying to convince Tyro to claim his mate.

With a misunderstanding here and several mistakes, it all worked out.

By-the-by, the way that Tasha Black builds Clotho over three books is worthy of Frank Herbert. Cloth is fascinating beyond words. I hope the other books might show us more.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved Tyro and Phoebe's Story!

I absolutely loved reading Tyro, Atlas and Phoebe's story! I am a big fan of the alien adoption agency books Ms. Black writes so well! Phoebe runs away from a life that has been planned out for her and travels to a different planet to adopt a baby (Atlas) and tend the land and make it fruitful for her baby. Little does she know a big green dragon warrior is part of the package! But the attraction is instantaneous for both of them! Phoebe is familiar with working a farm and she is very clever...Tyro loves that about his mate! There is a little danger and intrigue mixed in there but it all works out in the end! It was a very sweet alien/adoption romance and I am looking forward to the next alien adoption agency books that happen on a different moon! Another winner for Tasha Black!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Alien Adoption Agency romance

Tyro is a green Warrior dragon shifter, who is task with guarding Atlas, a chameleon like alien until he is twenty. Phoebe is a rich lady who knows farming, but her farm is under water. She has much to learn.

These unique characters are feisty, down-to-earth work ethics, and sometimes intriguing in their relationships. This fast paced story gives the reader futuristic look at pioneering a colony and visualizing what life might be like on another world than ours. I like the writer concept of human women brought to take care of an alien pod babies and ending up with so much more. These books are enjoyable and recommended reading.

I really enjoy the way each book in this series has the characters own perspective of their adoption stories. I love the characters in this book! They are both so innocent and willing to learn and help others. I enjoyed that their relationship had its up and downs, but most of all I enjoyed the openness to share what they thought and what they had. The author did a fantastic job with this quick little romance and I can’t wait to see what she brings us next.

I think these alien adoption books might be inching up to the top of my favorite Tasha Black book list. They are just adorable, even though the babies don’t really play a major role. Tyro is by far the sweetest baby guard introduced. He seemed so innocent and endearing. I didn’t really like Phoebe at first because she seemed to be a bit of a snob. Fortunately, as the book progressed she really grew on me. I love alien romances!

Phoebe is the last of this group from the intergalactic adoption agency and her baby is in the arms of a big green warrior named Tyro but phoebe is sure if this was the right decision because she has come just to restart her life as a farmer be she never counted that this moon farmed definitely. But now Tyro is also something she didn’t count on. Tyro didn’t count on finding his mate and he can’t quite figure her out. But when it all seams like everything is working out trouble come. So enjoy this good read and see what trouble come and how it works out!!
