Plastic lining on this cover destroyed my furniture

We bought this cover to protect our new outdoor dining set. It was on our furniture for two days during rain. When we removed the cover, the surface of our new $500+ table was covered with the imprint of the fabric, because the plastic lining did something to the finish on our dining set and it is permanently destroyed. We invested in a good dining set that was intended to last for a long time (which took forever to find), so we bought this cover thinking it would protect it. Instead, it ruined it. I am devestated.
