Retired air force captain, Zachary Logan, is a wounded warrior, searching for a new life for himself outside of the air force. When he relocates to the town of Crystal Rock at the invitation of his friend, Luke Bryant, he realizes he’s found it, and accepts the position of administrator at the recently built wounded warrior facility.
When Beth and Zach meet at the beach at Dragonfly Pointe, their attraction to each other is instantaneous. And the most wonderful thing of all? Zach is accepting of her special needs son, Kyle, for exactly who he is.

About Two Hearts Unspoken Targets~
I've read a few Tamara Ferguson books and I love thegentle, sweet, and passionate nature of the romances they entail. Two HeartsUnspoken Targets is no exception to the previous episodes of this series. Bothof the lead characters are damaged in some way and yet both are desperatelyseeking that right person for them. One of Ferguson's great skills is herability to invest a reader emotionally in the characters and she does this toperfection. I particularly enjoyed the loving and protective relationshipbetween Beth and her son but also the caring and accepting nature of the boy'sautism by Zach and his family. Therealization of Kyle's potential abilities was a positive feature of the story. The plot regarding the people smuggling and exploitation was complicated enoughto keep any reader interested and guessing. Ferguson writes gentle, flowingromances that give us a message and I am definitely a big fan of this seriesand others she has penned. The writing flows effortlessly and this book caneasily be read in a single session. This author continues to produce topquality work in a crowded market genre. That her work consistently rises to thetop of the pile is a testament to her qualities as a storyteller and I canhighly recommend this particular story to anyone who likes excitement, romance, and ultimately true family values. An excellent read--Grant Leishman for Readers' Favorite
Author TamaraFerguson delivers an excellent and heartfelt romance read for fans of thegenre, underpinning it with unique emotional touches such as the exploration ofPTSD symptoms and the trials and triumphs of raising a child on the autisticspectrum. Both of these elements are handled sensitively and woven deeply intothe plot to avoid being gimmicky, and it is this emotional realism that willresonate with readers and draw them closer into Zach and Beth's new lifetogether. The later action scenes build well to a tense and exciting plotconclusion, and the romantic plot threads are well woven to give a gradualprogression towards a fierce and loyal new love. Overall, I would highlyrecommend Two Hearts: Unspoken Targets to all readers who enjoy sizzlingromance mixed with realistic emotional drama and an exciting ex-military plot---K.C. Two Hearts Unspoken Targets by Tamara Ferguson was aquick read, perfect for an afternoon curled up on the couch. I think myfavorite character was Kyle. The mystery and the house where Zach grew up werenice touches and made the story interesting. On top of that, the romancebetween Zach and Beth was very sweet and showed that looks aren't everythingwhen it comes to finding true love. I would recommend this book for someone whoenjoys military romantic suspense~HeatherOsborne for Readers' Favorite
Tamara Ferguson's contemporary military romancenovella, Two Hearts Unspoken, is a moving and beautifully written story about aromance between a wounded veteran and the mother of an autistic son, who haveboth moved to Crystal Rock for healing and a fresh start. I enjoyed seeing howthe two of them felt that instant attraction despite the misgivings andinsecurities each of them had, and loved seeing how their relationship grew. While this novella is categorized as a romance, it deals with two important andserious issues, namely the rehabilitation of veterans who bear both physicaland mental scars from their tours of duty, and the lack of sufficientvocational opportunities for young people with autism, who all too often areshunted away into institutions instead of being surrounded by family. TwoHearts Unspoken is well-plotted and fits marvelously within the author's TwoHearts Wounded Warrior Romance Series. I had a grand time reading Two HeartsUnspoken and most highly recommend it-JackMagnus for Readers' Favorite
I really enjoyed reading Two Hearts Unspoken. It isan easygoing romance that leaves you with a smile. Ferguson did a great jobtalking about autism and wounded warriors. She touched on the struggles of whatit is like having and dealing with a severely autistic child. Elizabeth was anawesome mom. I wish that everyone could be as understanding and accepting asZach was. I absolutely loved the character of Zach. In my eyes he was a truehero. I liked that he had low self-esteem due to his injuries because it madehim seem more real to me. I wish that there were more books out there touchingon these topics. Overall, I thought this was a great story. Ferguson'scharacters are loveable. All of them have personalities that cannot becontained to just this one story so I am glad that Ferguson continues theirstories in other books--Jessyca Garciafor Readers' Favorite
Two Hearts Unspoken is a touching, heartwarming lovestory about acceptance and overcoming one's fears. Tamara Ferguson does areally stellar job of creating two characters with their own internal problemswhich prevent them from believing in the possibility of love and futurehappiness. Their instant connection and attraction to one another comes acrossthe pages beautifully, and I found myself completely enamored with theircharacters and their relationship. I enjoyed the descriptions of the scenery andthe setting and location were truly fabulous. As a whole, the book isentertaining and truly touching. A quick read that gives a very satisfying HEA--CJ Anaya for Readers' Favorite
Tamara has a way of using people's fears andweaknesses and creates a tale of love and commitment. She brings togethercouples who are shying away from relationships, because of scars, mental andphysical, and allows them to find their strength of character to build a futurewithout fears. Two Hearts Unspoken, carries a message to all mothers. Peoplesee you, not your child, if you will only look into their faces. Love comesfrom inside, so scarred bodies are not a barrier to a loving relationship. Well done Tamara, another best seller Ithink!--#1 Bestselling Author--Fictionand Nonfiction--Allyson R Abbott

After the injuries in a fire on his last deployment, Zach realizes that his career in the military is over and is looking for something new. His friend Luke provides the opportunity and means for Zach to start over working not only on his own treatment, but working with other veterans as part of a wounded warrior facility. Besides, there were some strange things happening when he was staying with his cousin at his family's old home.
The feelings between Zach and Beth and Kyle grow with some nudging from Luke. The point of view shifts and the reader gets both Zach's perspectives, his insecurities, and fears, as well as Beth's. There is humor, suspense, and romance. It's very well-written and both autism and PTSD are handled well. Although it is book 11, and I suspect Luke's story is in one of the other books, it is easily read as a stand alone.
I personally loved the story because part on it was set in a nearby town and with real events (only the names had been changed) and accurate reports. I also loved learning more about a wounded ex-military person and their self image concerns. I knew some about autism having been a teacher with an autistic student, but learned a lot more about them. The characters seemed real (other than a 45 year old willing to have a baby) and engaging. The mystery was a slow build throughout the story, and fascinating (but gruesome) to resolve.
I wish there had been better proof reading and editing, because I found several places that needed attention. It was an interesting book and much more than "just" another romance.

Two Hearts Unspoken Targets is the eleventh book in the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Series (and the extended version of the Two Hearts Unspoken Story). It is a suspenseful, heart-warming wounded warrior contemporary romance.
Elizabeth Owen (Beth) is a single mother of severely autistic son, Kyle. She’s been working as an accountant in a plant, which will be shutting down, due to the economy. So, when Kyle is offered a highly desired placement in a vocational facility in Wisconsin, she readily accepts, and they set off for a new beginning in Crystal Rock.
As she and Kyle are driving into their new home town, they are startled when they narrowly avoid hitting a dog that runs across the road. They head to the beach at Dragonfly Pointe, where they get out to go for a walk. Being here brought back happy memories of childhood, for Beth.
Zach has recently moved to town to take on a position as the new Administrator for the Wounded Warrior facility. He is also quite taken with Beth when they meet, the Sparks fly and their attraction is undeniable. Zach’s injuries sustained whist in service have left him physically and emotionally scarred, and make him very self-conscious and unsure of himself. He doesn’t think anyone could look at his scars and not be repulsed. The two share an unforgettable kiss, but afterwards Zach seems avoid Beth and is holding back. Beth can’t figure him out. What could he possibly be hiding? Would they get the chance to create something truly magical between them? Add in the suspense and danger from the past, which threatens not only Zach, but Beth and Kyle too- and the story gets quite gripping and suspenseful. I was totally invested in the characters and their story, unable to put the book don until I knew how everything played out.
I found this story is really very touching and emotionally charged too. The story is really well written and the characters are fully developed, with a realism that only comes from the pen of a masterful author.
Ms. Ferguson gave me a glimpse into the toll that war, injury, and PTSD can have on a soldier- and some of the sacrifices they make in service to their country. She also shone a light on living with autism and how that affects the person, and their loved ones.
This wonderful story is all about acceptance and overcoming adversity- with just the right amount of danger, chemistry, and intrigue.
Thank you, Tamara Ferguson!
