Ull: Tornians, Book 7 Audible Audiobook – Unabridged
Ull Rigel is a fit and worthy Tornian warrior, the first male of a powerful and respected Lord. Because of this, he'd always believed he'd be able to attract a female, securing his bloodline.
But he hadn't.
He hadn't even been able to attract one of the Earth females they'd discovered. But his younger brother, a third male, did. Now, the Emperor was sending Ull to Earth to protect it from the Ganglians who were abducting the females his brother warriors so need.
Trisha Burke had plans for her life. Career. Family. Friends. But one moment changed all that. Her friend Lisa and Lisa's two children suddenly disappeared without any explanation. When local law enforcement couldn't find them, she reached out to the most powerful person she knew. The President of the United States, her Uncle.
Two people who have had their lives turned upside down are on a collision course. How these two handled the impact and deal with the aftermath will affect not just them but all the Known Universes.

Ull is an angry, resentful, entitled, arrogant male whose whole identity is bound up in his position as being the important first son and future lord. This has shaped his world view and thoughts on females.
All in all, Ull is not a 'nice guy' really in previous books and at the start of this book. His story of redemption comes when he meets the president's daughter as the person he has to contact to forge an agreement with Earth. Trisha not only makes him re-evaluate his view on his people's treatment of women, but makes him look at himself honestly and has him choose whether to sacrifice everything for love.
There is the obvious repetition of explanations on their cultures, and I do understand that in first contact meetings these are appropriate, it also allows readers to understand if they haven't read previous books (please do read those books first if possible as that is recommended and I would say necessary even though this story is a book about this specific couple ) . An enjoyable read, a little predictable in some parts, the odd English error (not really distracting) overall a worthwhile purchase.
If you haven't read the previous books, I guarantee you will fall for Grimm, he is still my favorite.
1. earths reaction to first contact
2. More details from the time they left Luda for earth
3. More romance between Tisha and Ull and how it made him grow as a male
4. Trisha's contact with Lisa longer
5. rushed when compared with the other books. 216 pgs needed at lease 100 more. Ynyr's book over 400 pgs
6. Ulls reaction to earth. So much missing

Tricia, visiting the graves of her late parents when she is grabbed by a stranger. Coming round after blacking out, only to find two growling men. Shown the device that showing her missing friend Lisa and her daughters to explain the box she has to open. Introducing both Warrior Ull and Captain Veron and explaining why and how they are there.
It is then up to Tricia, once she can understand the two males to persuade her uncle, President of the United States and other world leaders to what the Tornian and Kaliszian governments are offering and what they need . Add some misunderstandings, reluctance to change attitudes and arrogance before all is made clear and all ends well.
We see Ulls redemption and his ability to love in the true sense and the realisation of what earth women have brought to his world and their lives. The journey of Their relationship is so real, enlighening and endearing that you can’t help fall for Ull as he sees the error of his ways. Loved loved loved it! Worth the wait! An absolute must read.
