Like, don't love love the brass color

There is a lot to like about this piece; it feels substantial, it's smooth, and doesn't seem plagued by cheapo manufacturing flaws like so many other products I buy here. Understand its dimensions and you'll likely be pleased by it. (The gap between tiers is less than 4 inches so be wise about what you're planning to keep on the bottom and where you'll set it to keep access 360.) The 'problem' I have with mine, and I put problem in air quotes because it's a fairly petty complaint, is it's too yellow of a brass tone. I purchased this to keep in a very specific location that happens to have a lamp directly shining upon it. It seems so glinty, a very yellowy metal in this lighting condition and it...distracts me and makes it look less expensive that it is. I wish this was offered in more colors because it is pretty dang nifty. But if you're very OCD about colors, know that in some light this skews to jaundice-yellow and doesn't mimic that lush patina-ready real brass that, well, for $20 I shoulda known I wasn't going to get. BTW, hubby says the top tier screws into the arched piece so ostensibly you could line the trays with fabric or cork or well, anything you wish. Maybe I'll try that because I feel like it's gonna put my eye out as it is.
