Where are we going? How will we get there? In a world of uncertainty, most of us don’t really know. Our challenge is to sail into uncharted waters—away from the familiar ways that don’t work anymore—to discover ourselves and the infinite potential for our lives. It’s in these as-yet-undiscovered places within us that we come to recognize what we can be and what we can co-create with Spirit. If we try to create guided only by the old, familiar map of our lives, what we create won’t be authentic to who we are becoming; we’ll just be doing the same thing over and over.
As intuitive counselor and "spiritual cartographer" Colette Baron-Reid explains, we need a different kind of map—not one that tells us where we’ve been, but one we fill in as each new experience changes us into who we need to be to live our destiny. This new map is a map of the soul. In Uncharted, you’ll learn to draw your own map of the soul as Colette guides you on an inward journey through five interconnected realms.
First you’ll get oriented in the Realm of Spirit, your "home" that connects the other four. Then you will do the work of self-evolution and co-creation in the Realms of Mind, Light, Energy, and Form. In the Realm of Mind, you experience your consciousness intermingled with that of all Consciousness. In the Realm of Light, you illuminate the darkness and experience transformation as you reclaim lost parts of yourself. In the Realm of Energy, you consciously direct the forces influencing you. In the Realm of Form, you see the results of your self-evolution manifested in the material world.
At every step, you learn to harness your personal power and turn fear into possibility as you venture into the undiscovered places where magic happens.

“A magnificent, magical, and super-practical guide to your interior landscape, from the peaks of your inner mountaintops to the depths of your ocean floor. — Nancy Levin, author of Worthy
“I knew the first time I talked to Colette that she and I were headed for big things. Not only is she brilliant, wise, and wholeheartedly connected to magic, but she knows, like few others, that spirituality is meant to be fun. Who else would call the bigger thing Quantum Fred, a title I delight in every time she playfully mentions it? Colette is privy to the fact that taking ourselves less seriously and playing around in the infinite field of possibility is the only real way to experience Truth. In this remarkable new book, she joins forces with Fred to deliver brand-new revelations. Pump your fists in the air, as I did when I read this book, and know you’re about to embark on the journey of a lifetime.”
— Pam Grout, New York Times best-selling author of E-Squared
“Uncharted is an enlightening and intimate look into the process of self-discovery and destiny co-creation. In her fun and inimitable style, Colette Baron-Reid offers practical yet life-changing techniques in the perfect combination of the light-hearted and the profound. This book can help you tap your most powerful source of all solutions, the Realm of Spirit—not just a new-age concept here, but a very real presence of support. Open the pages of Uncharted and you’ll soon find your life moving in new directions, sailing into a future filled with love, adventure, and unlimited possibilities!”

"The Map," which I only found relatively recently by the same author, changed my life.
I'm only a few chapters into "Uncharted," but here's what I think so far.
Well, "The Map" would be hard to beat, but Uncharted is brilliant. It has a different focus. You also don't need to have read "The Map" first to enjoy "Uncharted." Even the preface is filled with warmth and humour when Colette tells how she met "Fred!"
Colette Baron-Reid has a knack of making life really feel like a journey and a great adventure - and that it's actually fun to be here. Quite a feat - but that's what you get!
It's written with humour, genuineness and warmth and really shows you how to *live* life and not just drag ourselves along in fear of all the "unknowns" that we all face.
I'm loving it. It's entertaining and speaks to your soul at the same time. I love how it uses the language of story, but that the exercises are based on scientific fact (eg. quantum field theory).
There's only one problem I have with "Uncharted"... it's so good I want to devour it one go, but I'd really rather savour it slowly, let it all sink in and enjoy it to the full! This is one I'll read and re-read.
I pre-ordered the pb version from Book Depository, but have just purchased another on Kindle so I can take it on long physical journeys too! '

This is the book you want to read. "The Map" took me into some new thoughts, but "Uncharted" is the best yet. Colette Baron-Reid is "This Girl Is On Fire." I bought two. Gave one to my best friend. This is that kind of a book. The exercises are a challenge, well worth the time spent. A huge thank you to Colette for writing exactly what I needed to hear.

I am a fan of Colette Baron-Reid: I follow her on twitter and FB, and listen to her videos from time to time, and regularly visit her website. I also have a set of her Oracle cards and they are my favourite, so I wanted to give this book a 5 star rating, but I just couldn't. I didn't even feel it warranted a 4.
Maybe I am just too well-read in the self-help and personal development genre, and maybe for someone new to a lot of things that Colette is trying to impart would come across differently, but I found this book chaotic.
Colette is trying to bring together three schools of thought, which is not an easy thing to do. One of psychic awareness, one of personal development, and one of how science actually plays a part in both of these. She didn't fail in doing any of that, but she was overly wordy about it, and I felt there was a lot of 'padding' to this book, which I feel was a marketing tool more than anything. There was continued reference to her first book 'The Map' (which I haven't read) and also to her personal creation the 'Invision Process' which is a course Colette has developed and runs through Hay House Publishing (as I understand it).
There was also repetition in her own personal story about finding her true path into being a psychic after doing a television show (another plug). She hinted at other elements to her personal story and events that happened to her at the age of 19, but it was clear she was not comfortable talking about these, even though they would have added to the personal development she was encouraging the reader to undertake, and given it more depth.
I also felt that at the beginning, when Colette defined her spiritual world, she described it in a way that it was a fact and the same for everyone, whereas I was not convinced about that; it can be very individual, and spirit manifests in different ways for different people. Readers could worry if they don't experience things the way Colette does. She had a lot of her own terminology for that, which thankfully, she did provide a legend for, but I felt it made it more complicated and chaotic - although I liked the term 'small self' for the ego. I felt the entire book could have been structured better.
What I did like about the book was that at the end of each part/chapter there was a section called 'Traveller's Notes' which basically gave a break down of that chapter and the main points that had just been covered, so you could clarify what that chapter had been about, which was useful as often a lot got lost in tangents and over description. And Colette also provided some excellent exercises for the reader to do, to learn about themselves and find their own way to a calm state of mind and allow themselves to listen more closely to their soul.
I will definitely use and reference this book in the future for the exercises and even Traveller's Notes. But I would be careful who I recommended it to.
