Silly and the "experts" are annoying
Verified purchase
The "experts" opinions are a bit drawn out. I only managed to watch up to episode 3 and realized how dumb the show is. Most are just fake with elements of truth. However in episode 3 they claim that the man in the house with the babysitter, calling from the same landline is impossible. They said you can't call from the same landline and make it ring and therefore the story is untrue. I know for a fact in the 80s and 90s I could make the our house phone ring from the one landline. All you would then do is wait for it to stop ringing when someone picked up elsewhere in the house and then pick up the phone and talk to them. Also they said cops can't put a trace on the numbers making your phone ring without court order. Well that may be but who's to say with different rules in the 80s and 90s if something like that wasn't done. The show themselves in episode 2 claim that if you call 911 and hangup they can trace the call and send someone out to your home. So obviously they can do it. Just shows that their reasoning for saying the babysitter episode couldn't possibly true is off. There is the possibility it's true even though it's probably be embellished. So much for the experts.

Bad Acting and very basic already heard Urban Legends

Bad Acting and very basic already heard Urban Legends. I was expecting something better, not really a weird explaining show. I was expecting horror and going further into myths and things, this was just lack luster. .

It's very good, some of these legends are some well-known ones already i.e. the kidney thefts and the spiders in the hairdo. These were no surprize but some of the others I hadn't heard of before. These make the show more interesting. Some of the stories are thought to be plausible enough to have their basis in facts. This show is worth a look!

Corney. I watch it with my 8th grader, we laugh at the corney puns. But it is watchable. Some simple "urban legend" is shown and the commentators go way out of proportion in comparing these legends to their tests of proving they are true or false or "mostly true"

Urban Legend or is it?

I gave this program 4 stars because it was fun and informative, but it could be paced a bit faster.
I really enjoyed finding out what stories are myths and was surprised to find out some of the crazy things that were actually true. Anyone who gets forwards on facebook about deadly spiders hiding under toilet seats and wonders if it could be a real danger should watch this show.

Goosebumps!

I loved this show, it shows classic tales or legends. l was shocked on which ones were actually true. Now I can tell my friends about it. I liked how they give you the different versions as well, cause I know we all have heard them a little different. The questions on the 'commercial break' are fun too!

It was okay but I thought that they were a bit too literal in their analysis of whether or not certain scenarios did actually occur. It would be less hokey if they just presented the urban legend then verified or debunked it.

After watching the first series - It is a Meh!

If you dont like supernatural, horror genre then you may find this boring. After watching the first series I dont know if should continue watching this show. Maybe the days that I have nothing to watch I might consider it.
