The cover art was incredible and promising, and I'm excited for what we get to see with Charlotte! I think that's such an incredible play on EO abilities, and I'm eager to see how she handles "meeting" her death (whom those who've read the books, know and understand to be Eli). It's really the story content that provides a higher rating, even though there isn't much here. But it's setting the stage for the future issues, so that's neat! I just think the inside art style is..less than pleasant and doesn't entirely fit the atmosphere or severity of the book series.
Which, I know transferring media is another thing entirely, and can't be exact obviously, but I think we all had something a little different in our minds when we expected the comics.
Anyways, it's decent so far!
