My favorite Nickelodeon show!!!
Verified purchase
I used to watch this show when I was little and always remembered the theme song, so whenever I hear it, I get a fantastic feeling. I would consider this a Nickelodeon version of High School Musical, but the acting is even better. Victoria Justice is a fantastic singer/dancer/actress, and as always, her character is extremely likeable and understandable with excellent style. I love the plots in this show, the songs, and the dances, but there is some slight swearing in many of the episodes which parents might not approve of. This is also another show I wouldn't recommend for family viewing, because of the way this show portrays the adults. It makes them seem lazy and always finding an excuse to leave the house instead of dealing with their children. Overall, excellent acting, great plots, and funny humor. The characters are: Tori (the main character played by OBVIOUSLY Victoria Justice), her sister Trina (played by Daniella Monet), Jade (Tori's friend/enemy played by Elizabeth Gillies), Andre (Tori's best friend played by Leon Thomas III), Beck (Jade's on/off boyfriend played by Avan Jogia) Cat (Tori's awkward red-haired friend played by Ariana Grande) and Robbie (Cat's best friend played by Matt Bennett) and lastly, there's Rex (Robbie's puppet).

Really like this show
Verified purchase
I never watched this show when it first aired. But watching it now I found a funny good show to be repeatedly watched as a prime member. The only down side is only the first two seasons are available with prime the third and fourth seasons are not free there is a fee to view or purchase. Bummer. Hey Amazon! make seasons 3 and 4 available already. What's up with that.

Awesome show, very funny, great pop music, although it contains some sophomoric humor.

I would rate this 4 1/2 stars because I took off 1/2 a star for its sophomoric humor. Victoria Justice and Ariana Grande (before she became a big star) and several other cast members sing in many episodes. The music is excellent pop fun!! Victoria Justice sings superbly (bravo!!) yet her voice isn't as "cute" (to the ear) as Ariana Grande's voice, yet Victoria Justice is "technically" a much better singer and has a much stronger voice. Each episode has lots of humor and the show rarely takes itself too seriously. The cast members look as if they are having fun. When this show was cancelled, that was a huge disappointment because no show has (so far) been able to replace it in terms of combination of humor + music + teenage drama + fun.

My daughter is 7 and loves Victorious! It is a "teenager" show but she is advanced for her age :) She has watched all the seasons and I have to admit I have watched them right along with her! It is funny and entertaining! Clean family fun!

Good show overall
Verified purchase
Good show overall. I find it a little jarring to hear the actors say,"Oh my god!" something which Disney shies away from. Most of the characters are one dimensional (especially Elizabeth Gillies as Jade West) which is to be expected, I guess, from a pop-culture show aimed at tweets and young teens. My four girls seem to enjoy it.

Nickelodeon's best offering

Pretty obviously the high water mark for Nickelodeon. It's unfortunate they haven't been able to come up with anything this good since.
