Clear up valuable desk space and enhance work flow with STAND-V001. The single arm mount attaches to the back of your desk, freeing up space that the original stand can take up. The sleek black finish frame constructed of aluminum steel fits any traditional or modern space and strongly secures your monitor in a suspended position for better sight alignment. The mounting bracket uses universal VESA pattern 75x75mm and 100x100mm fitting most 13” to 27” monitors up to 22 lb in weight.
FULL ARTICULATION AND EXTENSION
There are endless positions and angles for screen placement with a fully articulating 16” arm featuring 15° tilt, 360° swivel, and 360° rotation. I removed one of the arms with the included allen wrench because the arm and mounting pole were sagging a little under the weight of my monitor. This isn't the product's fault. It's not rated for ultrawide monitors, which is what I'm using it for (a 34'' ultrawide). But with that one arm removed, it doesn't sag at all. Very sturdy.
My monitor sits ~4 inches (10 cm) from the wall when the mount is pushed all the way flush with the wall that my desk sits against. I think this is the prefect distance, but that's about as close at it will go, so if you're looking to get your monitor right up against the wall, you should consider purchasing a wall mount instead.
All of the necessary tools are included in the packaging which is a great plus! I had all the tools on hand already but it was really nice to see them included.
If you have any questions about dimensions or otherwise, feel free to ask.
I was going to place the pole in the center of my desk. I was thinking the arm would nest into itself and allow my monitor to be pushed all of the way back. But, a clear look at the picture had I been paying better attention would have shown that this is not really possible on a shallow desk (imagine a "Z" with the wall on top and monitor on the bottom. The middle part of the "Z" is the minimum distance between both objects. I wanted something more like "=" where top would be wall and bottom would be monitor.
Instead, I had to set my pole off to one side of the desk and have the arms extend straight out in order to get my display as far back as I needed. It is not an inconvenience, just something I didn't think of - so it might be helpful for some of you that might skip that thought, also.
Solid. Nice looking. Flexible placement (it can use vice-clamp mount, grommet pass-through, or drill hole straight-through). Excellent price point.
I did have a problem installing this mount though. It was less to do with the mount, as it was the design of my desk. The frame of my desk is too thin for the bottom of the mount to hold onto. To solve this, I simply put a 4x4x4 chunk of wood under the desk.
Overall, I'm quite pleased as the stand is well made. The steel is solid, the mount doesn't move now that my screen is mounted, I can move it up or down if I so desire with very little effort, and there is a holster on the vertical poles to hold the tools; hopefully I don't lose them.
The big note is that even though it says my monitor should be under the max weight. You really have to crank the hell of it to get it tight enough to stay in place. And not with the little wrench it comes with but with a proper closed-end wrench. And because it's just simple friction holding it in place, making any kind of tilt up-down adjustment loosens the bolt and will cause it to flop downwards.
Even knowing that I'd buy it again just because it's inexpensive and gets the job done. Just beware that if you have a heavy monitor, it's going to be a set once kind of thing, and you may occasionally have to tighten it again.
Do note that you need a heavy duty table to attach the arm to. I had a plastic folding table I tried to use and the arm actually bent the plastic table when I put on the monitor. However, when I added the arm to my heavy duty particle board table (Bush) it didn't bend at all.

Overall: If you are looking for a versatile monitor stand VIVO hits one out of the park here. Recommended.
I enjoy helping consumers make informed decisions. Thank you very much for the 'Yes' helpful vote, and please feel free to comment or ask questions related to this product or other items I have reviewed on Amazon.
First off, if you are buying a mount for an ultrawide monitor at normal height (ie, your primary monitor), I highly recommend spending the extra for a proper monitor arm, and the AmazonBasics one in extremely high quality. The ease of adjustability is just incredible, and something you'll want with a larger or curved monitor.
Ok, so I use this for my 27" above my ultrawide, and for that it's perfect. This stand is made of high quality materials and is very sturdy. The assembly took a tad bit longer than I was expecting, but the stand came in a very compact box, which I can appreciate. I was worried about the height of the pole and thought that I would have a visible pole sticking out above my monitor. But, I was pleased to see that the pole is actually made up of 3 separate segments. Since my monitor was at a good height near the top of the middle segment, I just unscrewed the top segment and stowed it away. Perfect!
Note, if you're looking for a monitor mount with lots of on-the-fly easy adjustability, this is NOT the mount for you. Sure, you can move it forward and backward or tilt it easily, but swiveling the arm left to right or adjusting height requires loosening the clamp holding it to the pole, which requires busting out an allen key. Now, this is what I expected when I bought it and I knew that I didn't need a ton of adjustability other than tilt. But if you want to be able to easily move your monitor whenever you want in any direction without tools, you'll want to look into a proper spring-balanced monitor arm.
But for mounting a secondary monitor in a vertical stack above your primary monitor, and for the $60 it costs, you can't go wrong. The quality was above and beyond what I was expecting for the price. I'll never go back to using stock monitor stands that take up a third of your desk real-estate.
I took it a step further and actually connected an old speaker set (via rope and dict tape) to it also, and a power bar. I balanced it with a 30lb weight, and might put wheel son it in the future.
Extremely happy with the result. She's ok with it.
The stand itself is great. Tape a couple allen keys to it to adjust it anytime, and slightly overtighten the sliding clamp if you're using a monitor heavier than it is rated for.
I choice that mount over others since it's from VIVO and already buy some other stuff from them for my PhotoBooth and I always find it's quality items.
What I liked of this stand, it's that it can be use " Desk Mount " if you have a more table setup, or it can be installed in the cable groove of your desk if you have one with all the accessory in the box of the desk mount.
On my side the way my desk is done I was not able to fix it as a " Desk Mount " ( like behind the desk, since not enough place ) so I use the cable groove accessory and just drill a small 3/8 hole in my desk to fix it there.
It look amazing on the side of my screen, plenty of space under my screen now.
I guy I will have to buy a second one soon to the the desk of my boyfriend :P
Every part needs to be assembled, so have 15 min handy. But just looking at the illustration of the finished product is enough to go on. All the parts are nicely partitioned, and it includes both short and long screws for attaching it to the VESA mount point.
After tightening it down with the included allen wenches, it holds a hefty 24" monitor without much give, and the mounting bracket can clamp onto anything between plywood and a thick desk. The only issue is screen pitch, where it will budge if it gets a light bump at the base, but the height adjustment is firm. The ability to swivel the screen into portrait is nice.
It won't win any beauty contests, but since it's supposed to sit in the background and hold the thing you're actually looking at, the point's moot.
Overall, for roughly $30, I recommend it if you need to mount a screen and prefer function over form.
-1 star because instructions were not clear. STEP 3 suggested using the included washers and long screws for monitors with recessed VESA mounts. The screws were too long and unusable since it wouldn't allow me to secure the VESA backplate firmly at all. Aside from that I'm satisfied with the product.
