There are only a few items left in Shannon’s Trinkets box, this time it’s a ring. Just as she and her ghost sister, Steph, are discussing the rightful owner of the ring, a code red siren goes off in their town of Petrie, GA. It turns out a child has gone missing, and not just any child, but a child who can see and talk to ghost.

Shannon knows she will have to join the search, but by doing so she will have to open herself to vision that could break her. This is far too similar to the case that drove her into hiding.

This is probably my favorite book in the series so far. It takes us in a different direction than the other stories. With a child’s life on the line, it has a more intense and urgent feel to it.
Will Shannon find the redemption she most desperately needs? Why has her ghost twin suddenly gone silent? If she fails will the townspeople that she’s come to love turn their backs on her? You can find all the answers inside the pages of A Vacant Hope.

I really enjoy this book as well as the other books in the series. They can all be read as standalones, but I suggest reading the entire series. I highly recommend this book and give it 5-stars.

Shannon and her twin, Steph really need each other now. Shannon has been working with Clara, a little girl who also sees ghosts. Shannon knows that Clara is a very powerful psychic medium. She just doesn't know the tricks to keep herself safe from all of the ghosts who may do her harm. When Clara disappears, Shannon has visions of what happened the last time she found a lost child. This can't happen again. Shannon will need everyone she knows and loves to help her find this precious child!!!
Get out the tissues for this one. You'll need them!

I received an ARC of this book.

Another trip to Petrie Crossing, GA and I still haven’t been able to get enough of this series. I have loved all of the books so far and the characters are relatable. Petrie Crossing gives the “sit down and stay a while” small town vibes.

I especially love that this book wasn’t exactly the story I expected, but was exactly what was needed in this series. Sherrie Lea Morgan never disappoints!
