These are listed as compatible with my Canon Pixma printer model. However, only after a short period the printer would no longer recognize these cartridges. The black worked at first, printed a few documents as well. However it didn't take long before the printer was indicating low black ink and then suddenly quick seeing the cartridge all together. The contacts are clean and there is clearly a lot of ink left in the printer cartridge. The color cartridge is completely full and will also no be seen by the printer. I've purchased remanufactured cartridges before for this printer as well as the refillable kits. These are by far the worst I've experienced. So now I'm stuck with a completely full color and nearly full black cartridges that are useless.

I got the Toners 245XL and 246XL for my MX490 Canon Color printer used by kids.Though it arrived quickly, it took me a month to get around to replace my original canon cartridges with these new ones from ValueToner. To my surprise, I immediately got printer error after replacement. Given it was beyond the return window, I decided to order another one but then I saw a sheet in the box encouraging customers to reach out by email or phone for help. I sent the email and got immediate response asking for order number and details of the problem. Within a day the value toner team said they will send me replacement as per 1 year warranty and I should send the original back with their pre-paid label.

To my surprise the replacement cartridges worked really well and great quality. I didnt get any errors nor do I see any other issue in printing.

I have confess that I had not hoped for any service given these are generic parts. My experience has been excellent. I do believe that the original part that I had was bad and their replacement worked. their communication frequency, tone, urgency all left me quite impressed. I wish I didn't have the problem with the original toners but stuff happens. It was important to see them fix it.

I was contemplating between 4 and 5 stars but decided to go with 5 because it is more important to have the processes and systems in place to provide good service than have unreasonable perfect record on product delivery.

Now I will see how they do over time and how long they last but I feel they should be as goods as original equipment. I would buy these again

I ended up buying 2 color and 2 black and white refills and put the new ones in which so far work, but I'm very disappointed in the fact that the ink is out and I didn't even use it much.

These had great reviews, and I was excited about the value. But buyer beware....

Everything printed, but the majority of color printing I did had colorful lines through it. The black ink was by far the most disappointing though. Everything it printed came out fuzzy because the ink bleeds slightly. No crisp lines at all. I even double checked that I installed everything correctly, and ran my printer through all its cleaning processes to make sure it wasn’t my printer. No change.

I ended up going to the store that same day and buying Canon brand ink, installing and printing the exact same thing. The quality of the Canon ink vs this ink was 1000x better.

This is, unfortunately, not worth the money you save. For me personally, it was a complete waste of money, because I couldn’t use them at all.

we bought CANON PIXMA TR4520 printer from wal-mart & complimentary canon cartridges colored & black were extra small . when they finished in few months ,we ordered generic 245 XL black & 246 XL colored valuetoner remanufactured cartridge set . AFTER 2 MONTHS ,
our printer displayed (Error support code 7800 , needs repair or replacement , please switch off & unplug the power cord ) .
WHEN I CALLED CANON OUT OF FRUSTRATION , TECH listened my history & told me to pull out valuetoner cartridges & put the empty original canon cartridges . The horrible 7800 code went away & printer was working again. Tech told me that valuetoner. ink is thick so it pushes thru the printer head with greater force & it overheats. DON'T BUY IT , IT WOULD LEAD TO PRINTER BREAKDOWN. I WOULD NEVER NEVER BUY IT AGAIN. WASTE OF MONEY .

I specifically ordered this cartridge because the seller claimed to replace the chip that feeds information to the printer on volume of printer ink is left. My last cartridge even though it hadn’t printed 10 pages quit working and it was virtually still full of ink. So I thought the printer was at fault. But took the chance on another cartridge.
Everything is working normal, for now hence the 4 star rating. If it performs well, then I will most likely buy another cartridge from this seller.

They came in quick and where they are less expensive I wanted to love this product. I was disappointed. The black only printed about half tbe pages a normal cartridge from cannon would get me. The color cartridge stopped printing yellow, so everyone I want to print in color I have to take the cartridge out and swab the ink dispenser part with rubbing alcohol or the image is entirely discolored. This makes printing a serious Hassel.

Never printed the colours properly: red is printed as green. Now, it simply stopped working. Printer giving error 1682, which means that the connectors on the cartridge are no longer working. Doing a Google search, guess? There is nothing to do about it! Removing the cartridge and wiping the electric contacts do not fix the problem. Now I have to print work documents and I simply can't! I do not recommend it.
