Cliche in too many ways, especially the characters and their interaction. A complete farce to accomplish the "impossible" robbery that seemed more like a heist challenge game show than it a movie. If you're bored and it's free - maybe, but for $6.95 - I regretted my impulse. The preview is about as good as it gets, all down hill from there.

5.0 out of 5 starsGood Movie with a decent story

While the fee for renting was a bit high, I found this to be one of the better movies recently made. I'm not sure why anyone would give this 2 or 1 stars. Its certainly worth a 4. I gave it a 5 because it entertained me and that's all I require.

This was a very poorly made movie, with terrible copy-cat plot from other high-stake heist movies. Can't say much about the acting either. Watching Vault definitely was a total waste of time and money, and not entertaining at all.

5.0 out of 5 starsEntertaining, straight ahead movie that kept true to its plot and purpose

If you are looking for movie more like those ridiculous Fast and Furious movies, this won't be for you. If you are looking for some diversionary entertainment with a new plot motive and challenge and you like Liam Cunningham from GoT or his role in The Guard, give it a try. Really don't understand folks who waste their time watching a movie that isn't their genre vs checking it out first for what it is. This isn't a crime movie about drugs, thugs, or AK-47's. Or about some kind of complicated sexual relationship within a gang. Also enjoyed a movie set in Madrid for a change and what their after was also novel.

Game of Throne’s Liam Cunningham has such a commanding, understated, and captivating presence, you can’t help but watch whenever he appears. The problem is, his ability to bring a scene to life also spotlights the lifelessness of the script and the characters around him. The usually reliable Franke Janssen is entirely wasted here and seems to be recovering from something. It plays like an Ocean’s 11 sequel—say, Ocean’s 18, only without Danny Ocean, Brad Pitt or any of the usual crew. It’s like “Home Alone 3” — same plot, but not truly a Home Alone movie and not all that watchable. Rewatch a classic heist movie instead.

4.0 out of 5 starsBank heist with one thing I haven't seen

My title sums it up pretty well, basically a bank heist to get some important coins which are part of a map. The vault itself is weight based. I thought it was pretty good. I can see why some may have a risen eyebrow at it. The entire vault which looked fairly large, just to house 4 boxes? That is hard to believe. BUT still the idea on how to beat the system, like i said, pretty good.

Meh. Casting let this movie down. Baby face smirking actors should not be forced into roles that scream for a different character. Attempt to be an Ocean's 11 heist and instead leaves you not caring what happens by the end.

Doogie Howser M.D. the 2nd is totally miscast in this thing. So is the female lead. Zero range, both of them. Could have been a decent caper movie, but WAY, WAY over the top as it relates to plausibility. "That would be a no for me, dog".
