Scott Emmons is a children’s author, lyricist and humor writer specializing in whimsical subject matter and rhyming verse. He spent 16 years on the writing staff at Hallmark, where he wrote many bestselling cards, gift books and children’s storybooks. Later, as a staff writer for JibJab, he contributed to the Emmy-winning series “Ask the StoryBots” and wrote all the StoryBots books published by Penguin Random House. He has also published with Flying Eye Books of London. He lives in the Kansas City area with his wife and two black cats.
