I used it for 2 weeks and have decided to return it. Last week, I took a drink and it straight up tasted like onions! I took the lid off to smell inside, and it smelled straight up like onions! No idea why...I had eaten a Jimmy John's sandwich that day, no onions...no idea why it would smell or taste like that. So when I got home, I washed it real good, filled it back up, and started using it for the weekend. Sunday - same thing! Onion taste and small, wtf!! No way jose...disgusting. So yeah, even after using, I am returning...luckily I was still in my return window. Idk if it was just me? I think it has something to do with the plastic. I have a type of hydro flask (smaller) that I was using before, and I never had that problem. I also want to add that I Googled why the water might have that smell/taste, and found that it could have something to do with the water containing high sulfur or an infestation of anaerobic bacteria that facilitate the conversion of natural sulfates to the much more stinky hydrogen sulfide gas. I only buy bottled water and refill with that...never use tap...haven't done anything different than I did with my last water bottle.
