Sweet movie, great cast!

Not your average Rom-Com, but has some of what you’d expect from them. The chemistry of the cast made this movie enjoyable and the storyline felt fresh and realistic. There were a couple of laugh out loud moments, but more than anything you find it hard not to empathize with the main character, which ultimately drew you in along the way.
Sweet movie, great cast!

Proof of how undervalued Chinese film is, one of the best I've ever seen.

Difficult to Understand at First. Takes a While to Figure Out Who All the Characters Are and Their Feelings
This was not a funny film. Movie is in Mandarin with English subtitles. A young man gave up on college to help a friend run an antique store. He has a few regular friends he hangs out with regularly, and one of them is a casual young lady, whom when dressed up can be very pretty. One day he meets a model/movie star, and he wants to know if he has what it takes to be get her attention. She sees him to be a kind guy and a nice friend to have, so she spends time with him at times. From their friendly encounters, he falls in love with her, but he worries about how to let her know how he feels. So, he turns to his casual female friend for help. In offering him advice and assistance, his casual female friend starts to realize she is having feelings for him. This love triangle complicates how each of them really feels about each other. This movie is between 2 to 3 stars because it's complicated to watch and understand if you don't understand the language. Some scenes were difficult to understand.
