Mothwing's story was a little bit better, as it has a lot more drama and feelings with Hawkfrost and Tadpole but honestly it was also kind of boring. Like WE KNOW ALREADY or have the Erins forgotten about Mistystar's book? In Mothwings story, we just get told what we aready know about her beliefs and all the things that were visitied in the New Prophecy. Nothing was added to improve or change Mothwing's character. Yawn.
Trees story? Don't even get me started. Why is Tree so mad at his mom?? In the normal books, they describe Trees relationship with his mom hostile and hurt. BUT TREE'S MOM DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO TREE!! All she did was send him out to guard the earth, whatever that means, what is what she did to literally all the other toms in the existence of the Sisters. Who cares about his mom being the leader? That doesn't make you special at all idiot! Sure he may be young to be all by himself but for Starclan's sake it wasn't the Sisters fault Tree wasn't paying attention to his training! Why does Tree hate his mother? She did nothing to him, besides doing what she had done to toms for centuries, and Tree knew that he was going to be left the minute he was able to walk and talk! That book made me hate Tree.
Overall this book was money grab and had no story at all. It added nothing to the plotline and I wouldnt recommend buying it, it doesnt matter at all and believe me it wasn't fun reading it either. This comes from a person who isnt very critical and tries to be the most positive in their reviews, take that in mind. Do not give your money to these money greedy authors. The writing in general feels like a fanfiction a twelve year old wrote in their sleep. I wouldn't be suprised if it was. So don't waste your time and if you're really curious what happens, read it online.
