In 1941, in German-occupied Warsaw, soon after the creation of the Warsaw Jewish Ghetto by the Nazis, a Polish amateur 8mm camera enthusiast shot a remarkable 10-minute film from both sides of the Ghetto walls.

This film has survivor's account and footage of Warsaw never seen before. It was a truly detail-packed account of what the Germans did to destroy a once beautiful city and what they planned to do with Warsaw to make it a German park. I'm glad they ran out of time, but Warsaw was probably bombed and torn up more than any other major city. Like Stalingrad and others that were nearly leveled, they hauled away tons of rubble and started over. This is a must see if you are researching the Holocaust, with so many Jews living in Poland before the war. Thanks Amazon!

Twice I ordered and paid for his film and twice, in spite of my efforts, closed captioning did not work.
I don't speak Polish, so I could not enjoy the film. And I was SO eager to se it because I have visited Warsaw.
Don't bother to order and pay for this film unless you are fluent in Polish!
