As a life long waterman, I have had my fair share of injuries, broken back, torn labrum, chronic low pack pain to name a few. Kelly's tools and techniques outlined in this book have allowed me to enjoy surfing and paddling again without pain. As the owner of Sea Trek, a Sea Kayak and Stand Up Paddling center in Sausalito, Ca, my livelihood depends on my ability to stay healthy and injury free. I use the routines outlined in this book daily to maintain proper mobility and strength so that I can play and work hard. The interviews from world class water sport athletes are a great addition to the book. If you enjoy water sports then his book is for you and worth every penny.

I started kayaking 40 years ago when I was a young teenager, and whitewater sports were my profession for 25 years. It never occurred to me that sitting in a boat would one day become too painful to endure, and that I would have to abandon my first and greatest love. With the tools that Kelly generously shares in this book I can continue to paddle. In addition to the practical steps to pain-free paddling that he offers I loved the pictures and the paddler profiles at the end of the book. Kelly, well done!
