The Well Driller

Leo Ladner's life as a water well driller was filled with hard work, bizarre stories and odd trades. Join him in this short documentary as he shows off some of the treasures he picked up along the way, one of them being a house made entirely of antique car tags.

Here is a wonderful documentary film. Brief as a few breaths, filled with sincere and colorful details, a gentleman from a generation not my own. The labor, the persistence, to dig a well as described--no small thing. This Leo comes across as a very human being of very real strength. Yet that's not all. He cares when the woman is delighted she has water so she can take care of her home. He cares! I loved The Well Driller.

Good people, strong citizens made by genuinely hard times. A "green flash" (look it up) caught on film. Thank you.

Not sure that they were better times, but they may well have been better people.

The people that can relate this history and had respect for it are almost gone. This was a great story.
