An episode of the TV documentary series Wide, Wide World. Wide Wide World was a 1955-1958 90-minute documentary series telecast live on NBC on Sunday afternoons at 4pm Eastern. This one is about wesrw and features both real westerners and movie and TV actors, writers and producers. Great documentary for anyone interested in westerns up to the mid 1950's.

Just to see Walter Brennan playing cards with Gabby Hayes and Broncho Billy this is worth watching. And stay with it till the credit cuz you get to see a parade of Western stars James Arness James Garner and the whole cast led by Gary Cooper and Duke Wayne walking down the old dusty town street. It is a gem.

This is a must see for any fan of film history, television history and/or the Western. It is the original form of docudrama. Directors, actors, writers and stuntmen are all included to tell the tale. Entertaining and enlightening all in one place. This is a gem!

A great look back, but I found myself looking up the old movies/cast/etc. Pausing and rewinding as I did so. Seeing how old they were then, when and sometimes how they passed, who they married. Made for a great Sunday morning.

I LOVE western films. I grew up watching them and still can't get enough. I will watch a western over most of the violent films made today.
