The idea of this book is great but I think the way it is all written in speech bubbles gives the book less of a story feel to it and the children would have enjoyed it more had it read more like a story. The way it shows how positivity is a much better way to think I should very clever and gets the children thinking about what they think of the characters thoughts.
The illustrations are so lovely with fun and busy cartoons that really give a glimpse to how the characters are feeling. I think it's great that we got to see such a diverse range of characters but it would have been nice to get to know some of them more to help move the story along. This is a good book but we probably wouldn't reread it.
