2.0 out of 5 starsThis man wanted a nap!

I waited for this to be on rental for 2.99 and boy am I glad I only spent 3 dollars on this thing. When I saw the Movie in the theatres I thought, "What a great idea!" , but knew it would be wise to wait on the Amazon video, which is fine, no expectations, after all it's just a little romcom. So I tried to watch it, got bored, switched to something else, came back to it and tried again, finally turned it off and went and took a nap. So what's wrong with it, you wonder? Well it's sort of like this review. Rambling, trying too hard, not very funny, poorly written and is ruining something that could have been a great idea and fun.
The only thing that has any redeeming value is the lead actress. She's hot and obviously a great actress. Her physical acting in this is over the top and could have been really fun if the script had been written by, say Eddie Murphy. But instead it just falls flat, which is too bad.
So many missed opportunities.
I'm sure some will find it mildly, briefly funny.

1.0 out of 5 starsTerrible!

This movie was so disappointing, it is unbelievable. I am a fan of the version with Mel Gibson (What Women Want), but this was just a sorry version of the woman. The actress is a repulsive representation of a successful business woman. I'm sorry, but I don't have to become crude, slutty and without grace to be assertive, intelligent and successful. Its really poorly acted on top. Nearly every half way funny seen was already shown in the preview. So my advice is to save yourself 2 hours of torture and disgust and just watch the preview. You will walk away being more satisfied that I did watching this entire sorry excuse for a movie.

This movie did not disappoint. Of course it's identical to "what women want" with helen hunt and mel gibson and usually a remake will suck but this was great, I would watch it again.

Nothing like the previews. Stopped watching it after 20 minutes. Too crass and unnecessary profanity. It cheapened the movie.

2.0 out of 5 starsThis is what gives 'remakes' a really bad name.

Some funny parts, but almost direct copy of plot for 'What Women Want' and acting was ... OK.
No originality, no really good dialogue (half of dialogue was f-bomb for no reason), I kept getting up and leaving without pausing.
glad we only paid $3 to watch, but wife felt compelled to finish watching since we did pay for it. For free we would have just stopped it ... lol

1.0 out of 5 starsDeserves ZERO stars! Foul and vulgar!

The preview for this movie made it look so fun that I invited some friends over to watch it together. What a HUGE disappointment and embarrassment. I expected there might be a few bad words in it and perhaps a scene or 2 that took the sexual innuendo a little too far for my preference, but this movie was ridiculous! Besides seeming to ever really take off as a worthwhile story to keep our interest, the makers of this movie seemed to think it was important to cram each scene with as much filth and vulgarity that they possibly could to the point of us continually wanting to just turn it off. We kept waiting and hoping that the foul stuff was over and a worthwhile story would ensue, but unfortunately it was just a continuous stream of filth, bad language, degrading antics and vulgar scenes. What a HUGE disappointment for a group of ladies looking for a good laugh. Ugh. We didn't even care to see the end. Only have it 1 star because it didn't allow me to give ZERO which is what it is worth!

Strong cast. Funny movie. Story line is interesting, but still follows suit of the average rom-com. Would watch again though.
