Don't get me wrong, it's a really good book, but compared to some of the others we have by Oliver Jeffers, it's not the first one the kids pull off the shelf.
Sweet story about a girl and her dad and the things they build together. Heartwarming.

Love this author. Always a hit!

It came and I was so looking forward to reading it with my 4 year old son.... we did and sadly we didn’t love it. We revisited it a handful, trying so desperately to fall in love with it, but again , we just don’t love it.
YES, the illustrations are so beautiful drawn, (the best part!) and the story does have meaning, but reading it was static, it didn’t flow, it didn’t capture our imagination. So for a 4 year old? Nope.
