It wasn't bad, but wasn't great

I didn't care for the characters very much, and the movie at some parts DRAGGED on and on, and the acting was kinda over the top at times. Some parts were interesting, and I did want to know how it was going to end. What I loved was the sets, the backgrounds, the outfits, the hairstyles, etc. I really got a good feel for a time period I wasn't around for, now the actual movie itself could've been better.

that ending-- really 😒

Most of the movie is tolerable.
The ending, however, is an oh-puh-LEASE level of bad. It's so bad you're like, wait, really? Did I accidentally click on some kind of satire version of this movie? And since it's the very end, that's all your left with, a bad impression of a mediocre movie.

The acting wasn't bad. I didn't feel like I wasted my time, so I'll give the movie 3 stars. I wasn't impressed at the end.
Teeny didn't try to make friends (outlets). Her husband kept covering the slip ups, which is why they moved. Definitely makes sense for the decade and family values.
