There are many factors that go into deciding if you will enjoy this movie or not. Perhaps number one would be your stand on abortion. If your pro abortion then this probably wont appeal to you but if your anti abortion then yeah, you will probably enjoy it. That being said there is, in my opinion, plenty for both sides to consider in this movie as it gives you lots to think about. The most outstanding point in the movie is Hannah standing up for her belief in God, even in the face of what appeared to be total disaster. The movie hangs on to the scripture of Romans 8:28 that states "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.(NLT)". I have personally seen this scripture come true in several instances and believe it to be a source of hope when things seems darkest. Regardless of your stand on this abortion I encourage you to watch this movie. The acting isn't top notch but is passable thus only 4 stars.
This movie really challenged me! It made me remember that "LOVE" is an action and not a feeling. The actors are far better then I thought. I usually pass on movies with names I don't know. The actors all draw you into the mental aspect of the entire story line. So glad I did not pass on this movie!! The director allows you to be inside the feelings by keeping the camera shots inside the scene and pull out as it expands each situation. For instance (I want spoil this scene for you but) when she is in the tub the shot starts on the faucet, you never see her whole body but you feel the depth of the whole scene! You feel like it's you waking up WOW! just wow!!! I recommend this film if your truly looking for a good movie to watch.
An absolutely amazing movie and such a beautiful message! This movie shows how God can powerfully intervene for imperfect people going through terrible situations. The characters are real and relatable! You can feel the devastation, fear, and conflict as they try to reconcile their faith with the devastating circumstances they find themselves in. Unpredictable and surprising turns will keep you on the edge of your seat! You're going to love it!
Charming movie. Not exactly the same decision, but I once faced the same decision, but as a parent with a pregnant daughter just graduated from high school. At the time my partner and I all but forced her to have an abortion. If we had it to do over again, I'd have encouraged her to make her own choice and then stood by and supported whatever decision that was. I'm a firm pro-choice supporter, but I feel that ultimately it was my daughter's decision to abort or give birth and deep down I would have continued to love her (and the child) either way.

While I liked the premise of the movie, I had a difficult time staying with it because it moved so slowly. The acting was, in my opinion, not the best. It seemed to take forever for each actor to deliver their lines, then receive a response. How did I deal with the slowness? I just fast forwarded it. However, despite the slow delivery, the subject was an excellent and timely one. It's always easy to believe that we will do the right thing. When life gets tough and the challenges deeper and harder than we could have foreseen, we discover who we really are. Or those we love and who profess to love us. Hannah proved herself and her faith beyond measure. Sad that her husband couldn't put aside his ego and really LOVE her with the depth of love God invites us all to live out each day.
The acting was so unbelievably awful that I couldn’t get past the first ten minutes. It takes a lot for me to give up on a movie over bad acting, but this really was shockingly bad. I can’t wrap my mind how it could have so many positive ratings.
I'm a Christian, and have seen my share of Christian movies - most of which are pretty predictable, corny, and "polite". Spoiler alert** I almost didn't watch past the beginning, thinking it was just another cookie-cutter film where as long as you have faith it doesn't matter the rough/tough time - you'll get your fairy-tale ending. But I am so very glad I stuck with the slightly corny tale, and knowing it was based on an actual real life journey made it touch my heart in a way not often found in Christian movies. It was so very refreshing to see that while her journey was just as God planned for her, it wasn't what she had imagined or even dreamt her life/journey would take.
While the acting in this movie is variable, the script is great. It shows enough of the real life story to get the point across that people choose how they will act in a situation. There is not just _one_ possibility. Hannah Bailey chose the harder path in the beginning, and benefits from the rewards in the ending. Watch it to consider how different people in different situations would choose to act in different ways to examine what _you_ really think about abortion, separate from situations, and inside of situations in the world around you.
