Raised in Alabama, AJ lives on four acres in southern Arizona with her husband and her Maine coon mixes, Rory and River. Though she works in a busy medical office, she finds time in the predawn hours to write and craft. Rory and River help with that; if her insomnia doesn’t have her up dark and early, they will.
AJ is active in medieval reenactment and is just as comfortable with a rapier in hand as she is with a pen. She also enjoys costuming and makes all her own historical garb and cosplay costumes. AJ likes to spend quiet nights at home when she can steal them, but she can often be found camping with chosen family or going to reenactment events or pop culture conventions.
On October 7, 2020, AJ and the other authors of the Wicked Souls anthology made USA Today history as the first all-reverse-harem anthology to make the USA Today Bestseller List!
Catherine A. MacKenzie escapes from her mundane world by writing poems and short fiction most women can relate to. Although she writes all genres, she invariably veers toward the dark. Her late mother once asked, "Can't you write anything happy?" (She can!)
Cathy has been published "traditionally" in numerous print and online publications. She has self-published several short story collections, books of poetry, and children’s picture books. Her debut novel, WOLVES DON'T KNOCK, was published in June 2018. MISTER WOLFE, the second in the stand-alone series, was published in 2020. She hopes to finish MY BROTHER, THE WOLF in the near future.
MY HEART IS BROKEN (IT NEEDS FIXING), a book of poetry memorializing her late son Matthew, who died of a rare heart cancer in March 2017, was published in March 2020, the three-year anniversary of his death. She hopes it might help other grieving parents who suffer as she does. BROKEN HEARTS CAN'T ALWAYS BE FIXED (published in March 2022) is the second book in his memory. She says it'll be the last, but who knows, right?
Cathy divides her time between Halifax and West Porters Lake, Nova Scotia.
Her amazing, gorgeous grandchildren provide much joy and inspiration.

About the Author
Julie C. Eger writes novels, short stories and poetry! Take a peek. I bet you'll find something you like!
Julie has been to some places. She's lived in houses, worn some shoes, had some hairstyles, bought a red dress, banged on drums. She knows a thing or two about rocks and totems. She's a girl, daughter, sister, woman, mother, ex-wife, wife, grandma.
She's panned for gold, water-skied over alligators in the Mississippi Bayou, spent a day at a nude beach in Jamaica. She's been in the dog house, missed a payment, burned breakfast, smelled the roses, stopped the car, stayed out too late, addressed the envelope upside down, forgot to call, ran a red light, written in the dark, sang her heart out, lived on rice and beans, slept in her car, drank too many margaritas too fast, and won a contest or two. She has loved. She has been loved. But most of all, she hopes you'll like her story.
She would like to thank you for stopping by. She would ask a small favor that would help her out in a big way. If you enjoyed this book please take a moment to write a short review of why you enjoyed this story and post it on Amazon. Your reviews help her to share her work with a wider audience. You can connect with her on FaceBook at Once Upon a Blank Page for info on new releases and special promos.
Julie is the author of a fiction novel, EENY MEENY CRIMINY CROW, and a chapbook of poems, PERENNIAL - poems that last.
I'm a writer and a poet from Chicago who writes in many genres, whichever way the muse blows me. From erotica to suspense I write what I feel. Follow me daily at Marlon's Writings on Facebook. Email me at marlonshayes@gmail.com
Eddie D. Moore travels hundreds of hours a year, and he fills that time by listening to audiobooks. When he isn’t playing with his grandchildren, he writes his own stories. You can find a list of his publications on his blog, eddiedmoore.wordpress.com. Be sure to pick up a copy of his mini-anthology Misfits & Oddities.
Jay Crowley is the pen name for Judie Crowley. She lives in Jack's Valley near the base of beautiful Lake Tahoe, Nevada. All of the stories originate in Nevada, which offers an exciting background, providing lots of story opportunities. "A little history with a mystery." There are two dogs and a cat in the family, and quite often, a dog is in the stories.
The novel "Laura" is about a murder that takes place in the Elko area. Also "My Selection of Short Stories,” the best from different anthologies. "Not Worthy-Story of Revenge," a Novella, "Maggie" is about horse poaching, airmail arrows, and a quilting club that helps to solve the mystery. "Drum of Hope" about the Sutro Tunnel in NV and sex trafficking.
My new book is out, "Lahontan City" is dealing with ghost towns, mining, murder, and a ghost.
Many of her short stories were written for an online magazine Five59.com. However, she also published in the following anthologies: “Other Realms-A Collections of Fantasy I & II,” “13 Bites, Vol 3 and IV,” “Heard it on the Radio” and “Plan 559 From Outer Space, MKII & III”, "Free for All," "Collapsar Directive," “Christmas Lites VII and VIII” and “Christmas Lites IX.” Also, in "Tales of the Southwest."
Some of my ACTION-PACKED stories include:
"Cabin in the Meadow," about a young girl and her dog who want to try the pioneer adventure in Hope Valley.
"A Ship in the Desert," about a couple and their dog. They run into more than they bargained for going to see a cement ship in the desert between Fallon and Hawthorne. Plus dealing with PTSD.
"Opal," A young girl who wants to be a paleontologist, but she finds more than artifacts and gems.
"Laura." a vicious murder that takes place around Elko, this story deals with forensic and DNA. The town is scared as the murderer maybe someone they know.
"Not Worthy-Story of Revenge" is about a child growing up in an Indian school and her "Soul Wound" and how she seeks and gets her revenge. This new and had not received reviews as of yet.
"Maggie" Best friends search for airmail arrows but run into wild horse poaching. To help solve the mystery, they bring in the "Wild Stitchers, a quilting club. This adventure is full of facts and excitement.
"Drum of Hope" Maggie and Nan are back. A little history about the famous Sutro Tunnel and
their involvement in helping a young girl involved in sex trafficking.
All are on Amazon in paperback and kindle plus Barnes and Noble online. The stories have received five-star reviews.
"A Gift from Nate: A Story of a Double Lung Transplant," a story about a family dealing with a double lung transplant procedure. Lots of medical info is included in the story.
"Natalie's Adventures" is a middle-grade book for 8-10-year-olds. Which includes three stories: One about a young girl and her travels to Great Basin National Park, one about finding a dead person and the other looking for hidden gold.
Jay has won several writing awards. Jay was selected to be in "Who's Who of Emerging Writers 2020, which is on Amazon. My writing is crisp and fresh, making them a fast read.

Hello! I'm Carmen. As if 36 years in the classroom weren't enough, I now "teach" from home, helping aspiring authors with their own manuscripts, researching marketing strategies, and working on my next book. You can find me in the mountains of northern New Mexico where my husband and I enjoy a peaceful, quiet life caring for our animal family and any stray that happens to stop by.
My first book, El Hermano, published in 2017 and was selected as historical fiction finalist in the NM-AZ Co-op Book Awards program. That book inspired many ideas for stories which I subsequently wrote and am still writing. Since 2017, I’ve published six more. My 3rd book, Cuentos del Cañón, received first place in short story anthology category from the NM-AZ Co-op Book Awards program. I’ve also published 64 short stories, poems, essays, CNF, and articles in literary magazines, journals, and anthologies between books (to date 10.19.2022).

Short-fiction author, and poet, Nerisha Kemraj, hails from Durban, South Africa. She is the mother of procrastination, and two beautiful girls.
Follow M W Brown down the skeleton-strewn path. The international bestselling author longs to lure you into her dark, twisted imagination, lock the door and wait for you to scream.
Her love of all things supernatural and terrifying started at an early age. That love exploded when she discovered Steven King, Clive Barker, and Shirley Jackson. She devoured ghost stories, horror films, and dabbled in writing her own. Brown studied mathematics and psychology at university because there wasn't a course in horror and found numbers and people can be just as terrifying. But it took her decades in finance to follow her true passion and realize her macabre imagination needed an outlet.
Brown has penned Portraits in Flesh, The Lingering Taste of Salted Chocolate, Reality, Under the Moonlight, Iced Coffee Confessions, Jealousy's Shadow, Glass Asylum and co-written The Broken Mirror Series and Through the Eyes of the Mummy, as well as over a dozen short stories.

Told by a high school teacher that he had writing talent, Steve Carr’s career as a writer began right after graduation. He spent three years in the Army as a military journalist, writing articles for newspapers all over Florida, and followed that up with four years in the Navy where he taught in the Psychiatric Technician Program at Portsmouth Naval Hospital, training Hospital Corpsmen how to provide care and support in an inpatient setting for young men with psychiatric disorders. He then finished college, majoring in English/Theater and then spent the next 13 years working in non-profit health care development and management, mostly in rural communities, during which time several of his plays that he wrote in his spare time were produced in several states. He gave up the steady income to pursue his dream of writing/producing/directing his own plays and began a theatrical production company in Arizona. He retired early and in June 2016 began writing short stories. Since then he has had over 550 short stories published internationally in over 280 different print and online magazines, literary journals and anthologies. Collections of his short stories, Sand, Rain, The Tales of Talker Knocks, and the hardback edition The Very Best of Steve Carr: 52 stories, was published by Clarendon House Publications. His collection of short stories, Heat, was published by Czykmate Productions. His self-published debut novel, Redbird, was released in November, 2019. He independently published LGBTQ: 33 Stories, which was released in January, 2020. In May of 2020 his short story collection The Theory of Existence: 50 short stories, was released. His guidebook Getting Your Short Stories Published was also published by Clarendon House. He has over 130 publications and books that contain his short stories listed on his Amazon bibliography. He has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize twice. In 2019, he was on the cover of the Inner Circle Writers’ Magazine inaugural issue and dubbed “The King of Short Stories.” He’s a native of Cincinnati but has traveled extensively in the United States and abroad. He currently lives in Richmond, Virginia where when he’s not writing he frets about his writing peers not getting the attention they deserve. He is the founder of Sweetycat Press, a Facebook Group, that produces publications as promotion tools for emerging writers
David Bowmore was born on a winter’s night with the sound of thunder and the flash of lightning welcoming him into a brightly painted Gypsy caravan. Forty-five years later he started writing fiction. After a steep learning curve, his short stories and flash fiction began to appear in various collections.
A classically trained chef, a personable teacher and unqualified landscape gardener, David has lived here, there and everywhere, but currently dwells in Yorkshire with his wonderful wife and a small white poodle.
David tends to write thrillers and mysteries as well as stories with a touch of the supernatural about them. He focuses on character and the oddities of being human, sometimes with humour, but more often with dark unreality.
When he was younger, he had a love of science fiction and fantasy. In adult life his reading tastes veered towards thrilling mysteries, particularly Golden Age crime. You know the sort of thing – country house murders where everyone is a suspect, impossible locked room mysteries with more red herrings than your local fishing hole.
David is an admirer of many authors including Agatha Christie, Dorothy L. Sayers, Eric Ambler, Patricia Highsmith, Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman, Elmore Leonard, Stephen King, and P.G. Wodehouse.
Since his first published story, 'Sins of The Father' appeared in Vortex, published by Clarendon House in 2018, David has featured in more than seventy-five short story anthologies, journals and magazines.
In 2020, The Magic of Deben Market was enacted by BookStreamz with actors from across the globe comparing his work to 'Tales of The Unexpected' and 'Inside No. 9'
C.L. Williams is an independent author from central Virginia. He is a writer of poetry, short stories, recently released his first novel, and is a contributor to multiple anthologies. When C.L. Williams is not writing, he is reading the works of other independent authors
G. Allen Wilbanks, an internationally best-selling author on Amazon, is a retired police officer living in Northern California. For twenty-five years he wrote collision and crime reports to pay the bills while writing short fiction at nights to keep himself sane. In 2016, he retired from real life to focus on fantasy full time.
He is a member of the Horror Writers Association (HWA) and has had over 200 short stories published in Deep Magic, Daily Science Fiction, Mythic, The Colored Lens, as well as many other magazines, e-zines and anthologies from all over the world.
He has published two short story collections of his own as well as multiple novels.
His novels include, When Darkness Comes, published in 2017, and A Life of Adventure which debuted as one of Amazon's Hot New Releases in July, 2020.

A multi-award-winning author, P.C. has always had a vivid imagination.
When he was in kindergarten, he convinced his classmates that his grandma was a tribal shamaness. Then he learned his letters, and kidding his friends no longer seemed adequate—so he started writing fantasy.
P.C. has published two standalone novels, and a series called The Deathless Chronicle and is working on his new epic fantasy project, The Magic Circle series.
His stories have been featured in numerous publications, and ‘A Poisoned Gift’ received an Honorable Mention in the L. Ron Hubbard Writers of the Future Contest. He is Spillwords Author of the Year 2020.

THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD (An International Manhunt) features my episode, "Untitled - Limp Noodle Sauce."
It involves time travel, Jimi Hendrix, Woodstock, and the origins of the secret sauce recipe. This is a variation on a chain story --- not that kind! --- where an author writes a chapter then passes it on to another author and s/he writes a connecting chapter etc., In this book, the publisher set a plot and invited authors to write episodes to that plot with restrictions. Available Sept 2021

This compendium is far more than a mere list of Who’s Who authors. The title opens with an engaging introduction to the project by Steve Carr, who explains the primary aim of uplifting emerging writers—116 talented, international writers across genres and variety. It has a wonderful foreword by Grant Hudson, editor and owner of Clarendon House Publications. The foreword was spot on, focusing on why unknown writers, especially independent writers are ignored despite their hard work and talent. It was a moving, honest analysis.
The book has served its mission. Yes, there are biographies, but they are quirky and some deep. Who’s Who also does a splendid job of listing publications and titles which say a lot about each author. The compendium also has links to author websites. In short, the book is doing a true author lift for each poet, fiction, playwright, songwriters, and even some cookbook writers in its pages.
The only recommendation I would make is that the links in the ebook connect to the actual social media links, but that is minor. Anyone can type an @greatnewauthor, and after reading about these emerging voices, you will want to do just that. I highly recommend this book for readers, students, teachers, authors, and publishers.
Artfully done!
The book is beautifully presented and easy to read. It is a must-have for any library, book store, college, literary organization, and anyone who wants to know more about the writers of today and the publications that are out there.
The forward was written by Grant Hudson, owner of Clarendon House Publications, and is extremely insightful.
After all the biographies is a section of tidbits by some of the writers included in the book, there is a section for “Building your Brand,” and another on varies presses.
Every writer, poet, and dreamer should own a copy of this book.
Ann Christine Tabaka, poet and writer
Grant Hudson, owner of Clarendon House Publications, moved me in his foreword as he wrote describing the battles writers face today... I felt my life in those words, as I am certain did many other authors.
This book is for you if you are looking for skilled writers in basically any category. You will find it here! It is also an interesting peek into the actual lives of those who love the written word and weave their magic with it. I loved it. Highly recommended!
